  • Bird on a Wire acrylic paint on cradled wood panel with collaged papers and pen 12 x 12 The symbolism in my piece involves a bird, a ladder, and a woman. The bird on a wire sitting over the woman represents the tension between freedom and confinement. The thin wire suggests vulnerability. The image of the woman holding flowers suggests vulnerability and beauty. But because she is wearing a hard hat she also represents empowerment which shows beauty and strength coexisting. The ladder is there to show the rising or courage of both the bird and woman to break free. I like using the imagery of ladders in most of my work. In this piece, in combination with the wire, it supports the meaning of the delicate balance in life. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Brooklyn in Bloom oil on canvas 24 x 24 This piece was inspired by quiet summer moments in Sunset Park, where I would pause and take in the contrast between nature and the city. The vibrant flowers felt alive, while Manhattan appeared distant, almost like mirage softened by light and atmosphere. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Tropical Fugue fiber art 64 x 61 Tropical Fugue was inspired by memories of Bali. Songbird serenades, expansive skies, and fleeting, cherished moments. My process is rooted in trust and a willingness to surrender control. The real magic unfolds in the midst of making. I embrace spontaneity and the unexpected, allowing fabrics to speak and respond to one another in a vibrant, evolving conversation. For this piece, I began by assembling organic fragments of varying shapes and sizes into intuitive motifs. These forms gradually suggested bird-like presences, emerging as focal points. Set against a white background, I arranged and rearranged these silhouettes, creating rhythm and movement. Surrounding borders were added to frame and contain their energy. Freehand machine quilting became the final layer, adding depth, cohesion, and texture. Each fabric carries its own history, gathered from distant places, its story stitched into the whole. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • No Smoking oil on canvas 14 x 14 I don’t have any statement. Artwork should talk by itself. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Farm watercolor, acrylic, graphite, and paper collage on bristol 23 x 19 “Farm” is a collaged piece using a mixed media combination of watercolor, acrylic, paper, and graphite with blocked shapes of color and organic textures. Tall grain silos, dark interiors of tobacco barns, gates, hay, pumpkins, wagons, and carts inspired this collage of an old SC farm work site. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Eve with Daughters mixed media: oil on linen and scrim, sculpture wire 120 x 60 I worked instinctively on this piece draping the raw linen which took the form of a female figure. I saw that it took on the image in my mind of Eve with her daughters. I incorporated sculpture wire to inside hidden seems. My objective was to show Eve passing down knowledge to her daughters. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Leonore acrylic paint and ink on canvas 22 x 18 Leonore Emma Ponton, 1902-1996, my great-grandmother on my father’s side, is a figure I remember only in brief but vivid impressions from childhood. My dad often told us that she had Native ancestry, and as a child, that idea felt both meaningful and mysterious. In a family of light skin and blue eyes, she stood apart—her olive complexion, dark brown eyes, and jet-black hair giving her a presence that felt both striking and quietly powerful. I may never know with certainty the full truth of her heritage, but over time I’ve come to appreciate that identity can live as much in story and feeling as in documented fact. I’m drawn to the symbolism of the oriole, a bird some Native traditions associate with the sun—bright, warm, and full of life. In other cultural interpretations, orioles are seen as messengers, moving between the spiritual and physical worlds. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • We Bring the Fire #2 acrylic 25 x 19 Women provide the creative spark. This piece is full of exciting colors and textures. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Spiritual Journey acrylic on canvas 40 x 30 Spiritual Journey arises from my own meditation practice and the inner landscapes I’ve traveled in silence. The seated figure reflects the stillness I return to, yet the luminous spiral at the core mirrors the movement I feel within—a quiet unfolding that guides me toward deeper truth. This spiral became the heart of the painting, a symbol of the soul’s path as I have experienced it. The serpent-like current ascending through the body echoes the sensations of awakening and renewal that surface in meditation. As it transforms into flame at the crown, it speaks to the moments of clarity that come only through surrender. The gold and white wings surrounding the figure evoke the unseen protection and grace I’ve sensed along my own spiritual path. This work invites viewers to pause and recognize their own evolving light, just as I continue to recognize mine. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Stardust encaustic on cradled panel 10 x 10 For me the experience of encaustics is very focused and feels a bit dangerous—you have to keep the temperature just right so it doesn’t overheat and yet there is still a flow in application. I feel like I’m joyously painting with volcanic lava. As I worked on this piece it started to suggest its theme was the night sky and our expanding universe. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Jade acrylic on canvas 20 x 16 In painting portraits the challenge is to capture the personality and cultural identity of the subject. I strive to do that. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • The Weight of Memory graphite and charcoal on canvas 32 x 24 “The Weight of Memory” was inspired by the quiet, interior space a musician enters when sound and recollection overlap. I kept thinking about how the body remembers—how hands on an instrument can carry decades of practice, longing, and unspoken history. Rather than depicting a specific narrative, I wanted the figure and guitar to hold that layered, almost tactile sense of memory: weighty yet ephemeral, grounded yet always shifting. Working in graphite and charcoal allowed me to stay close to that feeling. I began with careful drawing from observation to honor the structure of the body and instrument, then slowly built up layers of marks, erasures, and re-drawing. I focused on the relationship between the hands and the worn surface of the guitar, using shifts in edge, texture, and value to suggest how some memories stay sharply in focus while others dissolve into shadow. Throughout, I aimed for a balance between Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Taiyo acrylic on canvas 48 x 36 TAIYO in the Japanese culture primarily means "the sun" representing energy, light and vitality. Considering the state of our country I wanted to paint something that would be understood across cultures. The sun is life-giving for all of humankind and I've interpreted it through an abstract lens. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Antique Apple Harvest pastel 18 x 22 I worked hard to raise these apples and when I picked them, I was so pleased I had to paint them. When I painted them however I realized I loved the old tin orchard bucket just as much. Painting is a poem, a song, and sometimes a revelation. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Heliconia Carbaea Collage acrylic, fabric, monoprints, printed metal and handmade papers 36 x 36 As a painter and printmaker, I create layered mixed media paintings exploring memories and dreams. I have been inspired by nature from a young age and that influence colors my work with optimism, mood and color. I reconstruct the textures that feel familiar and insert them into each piece. I believe art is therapy, for myself and my viewers. My heart sings when someone connects with the emotions and thoughts that poured into my work. I use a combination of acrylic paint, gold leaf, handmade paper, thin pressed metal and fabric as compositional elements in my work. The use of symbolic imagery such as trees, animals, florals and birds, invites my viewers to reflect on the harmonious elements in nature that promote our interconnection. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Blossom acrylic on fabric with hand stitching 11 x 7.5 Working intuitively, Blossom emerged during the creative process. While painting the cotton muslin, I focused on how the paint could create textures and mark making. After piecing my fabric to create the collage, I used hand stitching to continue my color harmonies and line work, and to give the artwork structure. As the piece developed, the botanical image became the focal point. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Extra Small Work with a Diagonal ink on Washi paper 11 x 11 This piece is a continuation of my Ink Meanderings and from a series of extra small works created in 2025. Using dip pen and ink on paper, I create series of repetitive lines that look different up close than from a distance. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • When Time Bends acrylic 20 x 24 A moment where past and future soften, folding into a single, living present. Time bends, curves, and gathers, forming a field of motion where opposing directions converge. What appears as forward movement is also a return—a reconfiguration. In this shifting space, transformation is not abrupt but continuous, an unfolding that holds both memory and emergence at once. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Ensemble II reclaimed wood 10 x 7 x 6 Lilian creates expressive, abstract sculptural forms inspired by nature and the human fig-ure. Her work emphasizes fluid movement, balance, and the inherent energy within each material. Working with reclaimed wood, she emphasizes our connection to the environment. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Cracking Open acrylic and collage on canvas 14 x 11 Last summer, I broke my arm in an auto accident. I spent a couple of months healing and staying close to home. Slowly, I started emerging back into the world. I wanted to portray the feeling of being broken but ready to leave my protected environment. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Erinna airbrush with acrylic paint on smooth paper 25 x 29 The pre-Raphaelite style lends itself to paintings by airbrush and I wanted an image that portrayed someone from antiquity. The poet’s shawl is a patchwork of designs, and I used a paintbrush to try to make it flow. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Sarasota Circuit digital art on HD Meta 38 x 34 “Sarasota Circuit” explores structure as a responsive system shaped by environment. Rectilinear forms and linear pathways establish a controlled framework, while intersections and extensions suggest continuous movement rather than fixed endpoints. The composition reads as an open circuit—nodes connect, redirect, and adapt without full closure. The work draws from the principles of the Sarasota School of Architecture, including the influence of Paul Rudolph, where modernist structures are defined by light, climate, and spatial flow. The yellow field functions as both ground and illumination, activating surrounding forms and reinforcing a sense of atmosphere rather than containment. Surface weathering and overdrawn marks register time within the system—evidence of adjustment rather than erosion. Color operates as signal, guiding movement through areas of density and release. The result is a system that is ordered, adaptive, and continuously revised. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Nesting linen, watercolor paper, acrylic, and archival glue 15 x 13.5 When I begin an artwork, I often use a method to stimulate my subconscious. It is a unique, reductive method I use for collages. I begin by painting patterns, textures, lines and spatters on a large sheet of watercolor paper or linen. I look at the painted surface, add more where needed, until images start to appear, waiting to be liberated from the chaotic background. Then I carve out the objects with a knife. It’s almost like drawing with a knife. When I have enough, I can start assembly, piece by piece until their shapes are fully realized. I use these instead of the found-images traditionally used for collages, such as photos, magazine pictures, etc. I can also adapt a similar version of this technique to canvases, without cutting. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Bad Break Up photography 21 x 31 The layers of a street tell its history. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Where the Mermaids Live acrylic texture and paint on gallery wrapped canvas 24 x 18 There are magical coves on some shorelines with tidal pools and caves. The waves come and go freely but the inhabitants are more restricted. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Kip's Angel liquid acrylic, watercolor, transfer on canvas 23 x 20 An image was selected from a graveyard photo series captured by this artist then used as a transfer and combined with painting (artist's competency) on canvas. It was part of an Angel series executed over a few years during severe personal physical events. Angels were always solicited during that time and were always there for me and still are. In particular, it honored the passing of a dear friend's partner, Kip, thus it's name. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Potato Chip Bag Colorado Yule marble and 3D printed chips 33 x 33 x 58 We are submitting our work for flatscreen consideration only and/or online A larger-than-life "Potato Chips" bag turns a familiar object into something monumental. Carved in marble with a crumpled, caught-in-motion form, the bag feels alive, while the 3D-printed chips spilling out sit light against its weight. The result is a conversation between old and new, hand and machine, nostalgia and the moment we're in now. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Salumeria Famiglia Bruno Venturini, Venezia, Italy photograph 8 x 8 My husband and I were walking around Venice and found this wonderful little store selling wine and gourmet pantry items. As I was talking with the proprietor I noticed there was an old photo of the store with an inset photo of a man which I was told was the owner's father.  I asked if I could photograph Venturinis holding the photo to document his family's long history in Venice.  Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Gazing in Color oil on canvas 20 x 16 In this painting, I followed the idea that life is not fully understood. It can feel like learning, illusion, or something beyond explanation. I wanted to reflect that sense of not knowing in the woman’s eyes and in the surrounding space that shifts and flows, in changing shapes and colors. The woman is open to what is present, noticing the beauty around her and allowing different feelings to arise without trying to define them. I used radiant colors to create a sense of movement and atmosphere, while deeper greens bring in a connection to nature and a feeling of grounding. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Frequency 01 solarplate etching, black and silver thread 12 x 12 "Frequency 01" is part of a series and the product of my fascination and experimentation with the Solarplate Etching printmaking technique. Having as starting point a photograph depicting the shadows casted by the light as I lifted the cut paper I was working at the time; I explore symmetry, repetition and pattern and I create my works by combining materials such as black and silver thread. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Global Series - Bear Hugs ink on paper 18 x 18 Global Series is meant as a gentle reminder that humanity is not separate from nature but a part of it. In Bear Hugs, polar bears are portrayed in a circular format to represent life on Earth and a loving embrace. The red dot represents the Sun, warmth and the need to stop and consider the effect humanity has on the natural world. This is a diptych of serigraphs so the pricing is for the pair. Serigraphy, commonly known as silkscreen printing, is the hand-made printmaking mode. The most important part of the process for Zimmerman is making great drawings. She understands this and creates her drawings, not only as works of art on their own, but thinking about how they will translate into serigraphs. Her thoughtful use of the white of the paper, her textured shading and her attention to the negative space are all essential in her drawings and her silkscreens. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • “Never clip my wings “(Amy Winehouse-Nightingale bird) oil on linen 30 x 24 My portrait of Amy Winehouse is inspired by a rare charisma, immense talent, and unforgettable voice. like bright star, she shon intensely yet fed too soon. While learning about her life, I was drown to her tattoo a bird with word never click my wings. in my painting. The bird is no longer confined -it flies freely symbolizing the freedom she longed for. I chose vibrant, joyful color to preserve her in a moment of beauty while gently echoing the fragile line between brilliance and loss. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Living Enlightenment I acrylic, oil on canvas 24 x 24 "Living Enlightenment I" emerged from an intuitive line practice. During the drawing process, the artist experienced an intense movement of energy accompanied by a simultaneous feeling of joy and heightened awareness. The resulting composition became a visual record of that moment: layered currents of movement surround a central presence, suggesting the dynamic flow of inner forces while awareness remains awake and quietly playful. This work marks the beginning of the artist’s Living Enlightenment series, an exploration of consciousness within the energetic complexity of human life. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Mixed Metaphor acrylic on canvas 58 x 44 The work was prompted after listening to a recent press conference at the White House. A haiku accompanies the painting: I wrote it as I worked on the art. "A mixed metaphor - A demimonde rules a land - Based on due process." Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • The Ridge in Mist oil on panel 6 x 6 This painting began from a photograph I took while hiking in dense mist, where everything from the trees to myself, was soaked and quietly dripping. The atmosphere was beautifully subdued, and the steady rhythm of dripping water felt almost hypnotic. Along the ridge, a lone tree stood resilient against the haze, its presence both subtle and striking. Something about its quiet strength drew me in and compelled me to paint the scene. Through softened edges and muted tones, I aimed to capture not just the landscape, but the immersive stillness and sensory experience of that moment. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Pattern Play acrylic monoprints collaged on canvas 20 x 20 Pattern Play explores rhythm and visual momentum through a collage of my monoprints, developed from an initial black-and-white composition sketch and realized through printing, cutting, and assembly. Strips of black, white, and gray carry varied textures and mark-making—ghosted prints, scraped surfaces, and stenciled motifs—that create a tactile field of repetition and interruption. Small, deliberate red accents act like visual punctuation, pulling the eye back and forth across the plane and breaking the monochrome rhythm with moments of heat and pause. The work investigates the dialogue between order and improvisation: geometric alignment and repeated patterning hold the composition together, while unexpected textures and irregular edges introduce vitality and tension. Layering is central to the piece, inviting viewers to trace the history of each mark and to experience pattern as movement rather than a static surface Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Drumming Hands photography: digitally enhanced 20 x 16 Drumming Hands When taking this photo of a Gullah drummer, I purposely set a slow shutter speed to capture the blurred movement of the hands, while keeping everything else in the photo in focus. The hands display strength, endurance, and power, all attributes of the enslaved Gullah Geechee people. Originating from African traditions, music and drumming continue to be fundamental aspects of Gullah Geechee culture. Equipment and settings: Nikon D850, 300mm lens, f/11, 1/125 Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Naschmarkt, Vienna oil on canvas 20 x 16 The color, form and composition of these peppers in the wonderful Naschmarkt made for a wonderful memento of a good trip. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Lake and Sky oil on canvas 12 x 23 It fascinates me how the sky quickly evolves; as the wind blows the clouds, the light dances, layering, and changing colors. Nature capturing motion and color. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Just Breathe... photograph digitally enhanced 12 x 12 I started working with a light box when I was diagnosed with seasonal affective disorder and I found sitting in front of a light box helped my mood and sleep. I started creating temporary collages and photographing and sharing them on line. I called them luminaries. I work with cut out figures and cut out designs, still on a light box, striving for balance, looking for harmony of shape and color. This piece is part of a series: 'Paper Dolls/Light Ladies, 2026. Archival paper and ink print. 1/1 Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Gaia cashmere, silk sari, paper, pencil, cotton 30 x 15 Inspired by the green silk sari fabric wrapped around soft cashmere cord and weaved into the Irish Knot Embroidery, where there is no beginning and no end. The title Gaia came naturally. It turned out to be a scientific hypothesis that the living and nonliving components of earth function as a single system. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Glimpses of Eliza encaustic wax with writing, photograph of face, and embedded flowers on wood cradled panel 11 x 9 My great-great grandmother Eliza had her world collapse in 1863 with the death of her husband and loss of their plantation. In this image of a young woman, I see a serenity in Eliza's young face and glimpses of the dreams she held. I've included bits of the love letters from her husband John. Then I've surrounded her with real flowers and leaves, growing upward as she must have with marriage and children. Here, I see a mystery that transcends time and place. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Life acrylic & watercolors 16 x 8 "Life" reveals growth as a force that pushes through pressure, texture, and time- a quiet emergence shaped by fracture, memory, and the will to continue. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Stormside charcoal, gypsum & pastel on board 16 x 12 My piece hopes to express the times we live in--- a troubled world that's moving faster than we can grasp, where fear and daring are a game that, in the end, no one can win. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • She nylon, felted wool and glass on handmade paper 12 x 18 This piece represents my search to find my new identity. I recently lost the love of my life. Now I am alone to face the world. In my work with handmade paper, felted wool and fabric, I use materials that I have used over and over again. They are my comfort "food".Hopefully working with familiar materials in new ways will help me move forward as an individual. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Life Shield Series: Creation Dance#2 acrylic and cut paper on round canvas 20 x 20 The Life Shield Series are part of my invented universe, they are both tangible and a virtual reality. The shapes were inspired by pictographic images made by many different indigenous peoples but I have taken symbolic shapes and meanings, and transformed them into my own language.   At first, the designs may appear chaotic, but they are not. They are intense meditations, meant to calm the soul. They are receptacles for positive energy. The designs are contained within a circle, a mandala, a protective shield, an armor for life’s journey. My Life Shields are connected to the cosmos and do  have universal meaning. They are spiritual and communicate a life force energy and balance. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Salad, Deconstructed colored pencil 18 x 23 Realism is the style that I have embraced for my work. Perhaps the truth is that it embraced me, with inspiration coming from the world around me. This pile of vegetables from the garden was a perfect subject. It featured lots of detail, lots of vibrant color and worked into a pleasing composition. I hope the viewer enjoys seeing it as much as I did creating it. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Victorian Bride (The Gilded Age, 1870) collage w/ hand-cut found paper, NY Times, ink 13 x 10 Olivia Langdon married American writer and humorist Samuel Clemons in Elmira, NY, in 1870. Together they had 3 daughters, including Susy, Clara and Jean. Their son Langdon died of diphtheria in 1872 at the age 19 months. Her husband Mark Twain wrote under his pen name in their gazebo in Hartford, CT. She was a faithful, judicious, and painstaking editor for her husband. Olivia was also a proponent of women's rights, and surrounded herself with influential women including educator Julia Beecher and Isabella Beecher Hooker, abolitionist and suffragette. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Turning and turning in the widening gyre collage: painted paper mounted on paper 11 x 7.5 My daily practice is to create a small collage every morning on awakening. Each is different, using different papers; some papers are painted like the ones used in this artwork, others are cut from magazines. The title is the first line of W.B. Yeats "The Second Coming". The work of daily practice makes it possible to face the day, which is filled with bad news at home an abroad. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Pink Sands mixed media on paper 7 x 9.5 This artwork is inspired by the freedom and happiness I feel near the ocean. Every summer my Mom would load myself and my siblings into our Aspen station wagon and drive 12 hours straight to my grandparents 4 room beach cottage near Boston. By leaving my Dad behind to work, we could all relax. I have many happy memories of beach vacations with family and friends throughout my life. My abstract art attempts to convey those feelings but not specific place. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • The Great Egret sculpture 18 x 9 x 10 I love biking along the Potomac River and watch all the wildlife including eagles, ospreys, blue herons and especially the Great Egret which migrates every year to the shores of Alexandria and along the Potomac tributaries. The Great Egret was carved directly into the stone, sanded and polished. It is an abstract shape focused on the essence of the bird itself and its graceful motion. After the sewage spill that took place earlier this year, this sculpture comes as a reminder to keep the Potomac clean and healthy not only for our drinking water but for the very rich wildlife that depends on it.. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Sheila mixed media collage: paper, chalk pastels, leaves on mat-board 20 x 20 Sheila a former student, reach out to thank me for the experience she gained by participating in the school's Annual Talent-Fashion Show. She is now a fashion model and industry professional. I got inspiration from her photos. This one in particular was a challenge. To make each petal of the flower one by one then assembling them, to give them life. I also love her posture and the expression on her face. Soft, Strong and Steady! Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Inscape #35 acrylic on wood panel 24 x 20 The Forest Inscapes came about accidentally when I was experimenting with dripping acrylic paint on wood panels. I had used dripping extensively in my large Erosion paintings, in which the drips formed veils of colors. Dripped onto a smaller format, the columns of paint looked like trees instead of forming a veil. Thus were born the Forest Inscapes, explorations in color which have evolved to reflect the seasons in the forest around my studio. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Field Study - Blush & Earth acrylic 24 x 24 Field Study – Blush & Earth is part of an ongoing exploration of color as emotion and presence. Working on raw canvas, I allow acrylic washes to move freely, absorbing into the surface rather than sitting on top of it. This process creates a sense of immediacy and surrender, where the material itself participates in the outcome. The palette—soft blush against grounded earth—reflects a dialogue between vulnerability and stability. The forms emerge without predetermined structure, shaped by gravity, saturation, and time. Drips are not corrected but embraced as evidence of movement and release. In this work, I am less concerned with composition as control and more interested in allowing the painting to reveal itself. The result is a quiet tension between softness and weight, intention and accident—an open field where feeling takes form without the need for narrative. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Freefall washi paper, watercolor, gold leaf on cradled birch board 36 x 18 As a half-Japanese American, I use traditional Japanese materials like washi paper. in un-traditional ways. This work is a commentary on the Asian American experience of having little control over one's environment while being (metaphorically) naked. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • The Mountain acrylic on canvas 20 x 20 "The Mountain" was inspired by majestic mountain views. Living in the mountains provides constant inspiration and this painting conveys the strength and beauty of those vistas. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Edisto #1 Mother's Bones digital 17 x 11 Botany Bay in Edisto Island South Carolina is a beautiful, heart-wrenching site, where the erosion of the beach has left a graveyard of bleached trees that stretch as far as the eye can see. Visitors decorate the tree bones with shells in a heartfelt tribute where land and sea become one. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Everyone Called It The Crossing watercolor 6 x 4 Many transparent washes are applied to create the finished painting in order to intensify and vary the color palette, arriving at an image that often isn't recognized as watercolor. One painting takes anywhere from weeks to months to create, as I like to step away and return to a work with a fresh eye. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • 7-Eleven @ Night, Seattle acrylic on canvas 25.5 x 31.5 I love the 7-Eleven logo, the store's colors, and that they are all over downtown Chicago, let alone scattered across the world! This painting is a tribute to the lovely Georgia O'Keeffe painting, New York, 1929-28, in the collection of the Sheldon Museum of Art. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Oceans Last Dance acrylic, ink, glitter, on linen 24 x 24 My paintings represent the beauty of the ocean in an abstract and organic way. Through my art, I strive to capture the essence of the ocean as it feels, the way it appears, and the significance it holds for our planet. While the current state of our oceans is dire, I believe we can still reflect on their beauty and consider what actions we can take to prevent further irreversible damage. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Judy oil on canvas 16 x 20 I have been painting a series of LGBTQ+ portraits. My model had a moment of surprise as we were taking photos and she placed her hands on her face. I thought it was such a real moment that I decided to paint it. I first did the painting and weeks later I created the stencil for the background, which I thought was appropriate for her expression. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Canyon Rhythms XXIII acrylic on canvas 60 x 72 This is a painting from my Canyon Rhythms series, paintings of my remembered visit to the amazing Grand Canyon. Paintings evolved over time in my studio through an intuitive process using meditation, music and improvisation. Works slowly unfolded so that subtle transformations of the surface were allowed to emerge. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • A River Runs Through It oil on panel 24 x 37 At the heart of my work lies the evolving metaphor of the “Galactic Web”—a cosmic thread that connects all things. What began in graduate school as the “Life Line” has matured into a sustained investigation of consciousness and the interconnectedness of all matter. Working intuitively, I allow gestural brushwork and fluid paint drips to guide each composition, without predetermined outcomes. A painting is considered resolved only when visual language, metaphor, and conceptual resonance fully converge. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Suspended Shadows sculpture: steel, plaster, powder metal 29.5 x 13.5 x 11.5 As a metal artist, I am captivated by the dialogue between strength and softness, where steel and delicate curves intertwine. This sculpture begins with a clay face, grounded and resolute, symbolizing resilience. From this foundation, metal feathers emerge, catching an imagined wind and embodying freedom and motion. The clay anchors the piece to the earth, while each feather represents a movement and tells a story of persistence and care. Working with these materials together, I aim to create a harmonious balance that reflects the complexities of the human experience—where strength meets vulnerability and aspiration takes flight. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Where the quiet begins to speak acrylic on canvas with mixed media on canvas in a floating frame 12 x 12 As women we are taught to be quiet, until now when we must speak up. In a culture that still rewards polished images and fast takes, I’m drawn to making work that honors the in-between—the pauses, the rewrites, the moments when you’re quietly becoming someone new. This painting is part of that exploration: layered, imperfect, and emotionally honest. Beneath soft veils of color and scattered marks, a quiet rhythm gathers courage until the hidden voices of memory rise together and begin to speak. Small bursts of unexpected color build on one another like layers of memory, each mark a gesture of release rather than control. Scribbled lines trace the edges of thoughts that never quite became words, while delicate textures hint at stories just beneath the surface. This is one of two in a series, Unfolding Memories. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Tea Time acrylic 20 x 16 This is part of a series I did of interiors. This is a stark room, waiting for someone, lonely, but still able to have the pleasure of a cup of tea and a piece of cake. The light is strong as the table is near a window, the only warmth in the room. I work with different medias on gessoed paper, which is adhered to canvas Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Vase of Flowers and a Rose acrylic 19 x 18.75 I love the intersection of geometry and still life. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Memories in Bloom oil on board 18 x 20 I attended Fashion Institute of Technology. After 10 years of designing clothes for various companies I left to raise a family and complete a BS degree in Visual Arts at SUNY College at Old Westbury. In 2009 I became Co-President of The Art Guild, located in Manhasset, New York. Flowers, gardening, nature and crafts have always appealed to me. My natural inclination is to paint moments where light is the main attraction. I want to emphasize the energy created by the shadows and the glow of the highlights. I work in Pastel, oil and mosaic and have studied with the late Anthony Palombo, Howard Rose, Jackie Kamin and Robert A. Johnson. I have exhibited at The Art Guild, The Graphic Eye Gallery, The Atelier at Flowerfield, Suburban Art League and the National Art League. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Mexican Dancer digital photography, inkjet archival print 17 x 12.5 I've always loved photographing people, especially dancers. This was taken during a vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. There were several dancers in motion. I waited for this dancer to pause, then I took the photo. I was especially attracted to the bright colors in her dress and scarf. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Bullwhip Kelp acrylic on canvas 20 x 16 There is nothing stranger and more beautiful than what nature conjures up, and bullwhip kelp is no exception. This piece aims to capture the feeling of a gray day on the beach, interrupted by strange beauty. I work primarily in acrylics and gouache and often incorporate found objects, and I focus on the interplay of color, texture and abstraction. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Simplicity acrylic paint, tissue papers, McCalls sewing pattern 24 x 24 This collage was one in a series using tissue sewing papers and bright color to add depth and movement to the work. The addition of dense black images intends for the view's eye to move in a circular motion and interact with the lines and color. The orange triangles focus the viewer towards the center. Then the dances starts all over again. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Ochre Grey Seascape watercolor pencil on bristol 9 x 12 Seascape inspired by the subtle atmospheric conditions. While grounded in reality, it draws on the aesthetic traditions of minimalism, realism and remembrance art. Rather than presenting a factual reality, an illusion is fabricated to evoke realms of the imagination. I seek to establish a link between reality and imagination based on my interior response to a subject....create a place where fiction and reality balance. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Chromos 5 wall sculpture-wood paper and plexiglass 16 x 16 x 2 Color, light and science form the foundation of my work. My work investigates how light activates color—how reflection, transparency, and layering create shifting perceptual experiences. My work is driven by the endless possibilities of the interaction of color and light. They are concerned with change—subtle movement, optical variation, and the instability of what we see. My work is meant to be positive and celebratory. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Native Spirit digital 20 x 16 Indigenous worldviews include a holistic perspective of space and time that is cyclic and all-inclusive. I am inspired by Indigenous cultures that use balance and symmetry in their visual designs to create sacred spaces and artifacts that symbolize this holistic perspective that connects the physical and spiritual worlds. Native Spirit is inspired by Indigenous artifacts like the “totem pole” and symbolizes the integration of shamanic and spiritual practices with ancestral traditions. Free-form elements represent the poetic lyricism of the physical environment and natural forces (blue skies and water, graceful flora), and layers of light, transparency, and textural overlays symbolize the holistic nature of this synergy. I use custom software to weave rays of reflected and refracted colored light into this dynamic continuum. With digital technology, the medium of light becomes a vehicle for visualizing the poetic synergy between the physical and spiritual worlds. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Rebirth acrylic on board 20.75 x 20.75 I am continually inspired by the rebirth of spring and the color that surrounds us during that time. My process starts with a feeling that moves me to pick up a brush and paint! Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Gravity: Boy & the Sea oil on linen 20.5 x 20.5 'Gravity: Boy & the Sea' reflects the power of the ocean and youth. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • “Justice for All” sculpture 18 x 18 x 6 I will quote the definition of Justice, “At it’s core it means fairness" People treated in a way that is right, impartial, and deserved. This figure cuffed against the wall, partially clothed appearing powerless. A sad scenario of American life. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • At Sea fiber art 12 x 12 At Sea inhabits the space between the known and the imagined, one of transformation, memory, and possibility. Through embroidery and other materials, At Sea depicts an organic ecosystem where elements interweave, with both fragility and endurance. At the center, the mermaid explores the boundary between the ethereal and the familiar, self and surroundings, fact and fantasy. Often romanticized, the mermaid is reimagined here as something more complex—rooted, entangled, and inseparable from her habitat . Celebratory color, coral-like stitching, the delicacy of threads, raw edges, and layered textures emphasize process and impermanence, inviting attention to what is unraveling as much as what is growing and thriving. Natural elements create a dialogue between preservation and decay, artifice and authenticity. This work reflects on care—for oceans, ecosystems, and the narratives we attach to them. It asks viewers to consider the complex, delicate world we inhabit. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Quiet Peace acrylic on canvas 18 x 22 The Everglades landscape has important jobs to do fulfilling essential functions in the natural world. It is already home to birds and animals that have adapted to its quirks many of them who biting and sting, signaling that humans are not particularly welcome. When you are patient, take a deep breath and sit quietly, you may find that nature's wonders unfold in unexpected and magical ways. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Blue Chiffon acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas 20 x 20 My granddaughter shared her excitement about being invited to prom which inspired me to create this painting about a young girl struggling to get dressed for prom. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Finger Lakes Vineyard oil on linen 21 x 21 The open skies and majestic lakes and vineyards of the Finger Lakes in upstate New York inspired this impressionistic painting. The loose brushwork at the forefront captures the fleeting suggestion of the vineyard as one drives past, the background depicts the mesmerizing landscape on the other side of the lake. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Where She Is Now oil on paper 8 x 20 The works in this series (Dressing Table Vignettes) are studies, created for conceptual development of larger works. They regard vanities as private, personal spaces where one may meditate upon memories and encounter a depth of emotions reflecting in the mirror about life, being female. Looking glasses are used in metaphor, for the contemplation of constructing oneself for the world – for pleasure, necessity, or perhaps protection. In my process, I deconstruct textiles and garments from my wardrobe to create surface assemblages as low-relief grounds for paintings. What emerges is a visual dialogue, evoking human presence, aimed at illuminating renewal and transformation allegorically contributing to the dialogue and conceptual expression. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Boy in Green oil on paper 24 x 18 This painting explores perception and the quiet ways it shapes how we experience reality. The boy is built from fragments of memory, reference, and distortion rather than direct observation, allowing him to function not as a specific person but a psychological presence. This work also draws on archetypal imagery and an interest in how internal frameworks, such as psychology and spirituality, structure our experience without our awareness. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Radiant Red oil on canvas 19 x 16 This warm Autumn red is a beautiful hue that I took much pleasure in working through the composition. The repetition of reds gives it unity and the reassurance of solidity. Like notes on a musical score—you expect certain tones to repeat. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Theo Makes the Right Decision mixed media: photo and pigmented beeswax combines on Kozo and wood panel 20 x 16 History comes to us incomplete, in fragments, half-remembered stories, and voices never fully heard. In response, I create fictional visual biographies that honor lives that exist at the edges of recorded history. Each portrait is an act of imaginative witnessing, making space for moments that might have been or should have been. Each of these mixed media works is composed of intricate layers of pigmented beeswax, photographs, and abstract drawings. The photographic elements are a fusion of reclaimed and reimagined vintage photographs, with my own photographs that I combine and repurpose to add narrative texture. This layered process mirrors how we access memory; peering through time with imperfect clarity, discovering the way identity is constructed, concealed, and recovered across generations. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Fissures and Falls oil on canvas 14 x 17 Part of a series of landscapes, Fissures and Falls is my memory of an excursion to Iceland. The power of the waterfalls, juxtaposed with the deep crevices made by earthquakes, amplified my sense of awe before the landscape of Iceland Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Caged printmaking 13 x 15 When fear falls on the human spirit, it chains us to darkness. The only path forward is to see it for what it is. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Good Day Sunshine Acrylic on Primed Canvas 22 x 18 Organic shapes and the interplay of color and light inspire my work. After a 30 year span as a watercolor artist, I have discovered acrylic paint, and am loving it! Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Inside On acrylic on canvas with pencil, ink, collage, acrylic, clay on wood, board, paper 17.25 x 12 My fine art series explores her relationship with her body, how she feels it, lives in it, responds and embraces it, how she internalizes the outside and how it tries to define her. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Gaia oil on wood panel 23 x 23 "Gaia" is my love letter to the living Earth and the profound realization that she sees through us as much as we see her. While painting this piece, I became obsessed with the idea that the planet is not merely a backdrop for our lives but a conscious, breathing presence. Within the iris, rich forests unfold, rivers bend through the landscape, and butterflies and birds swirl like living thoughts and experiences. The waterfall spilling gently from her lower lid represents the constant flow of life and emotion I feel when immersed in nature—overwhelming, cleansing, and deeply connective. This painting grew from quiet moments when I felt both small and intimately linked to nature around me, as if the Earth were inviting me to remember that my own awareness is part of her vast, ancient presence. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Bloom photograph: hand-made platinum/palladium 11 x 14 In my art work, I capture the simple beauty in everyday life, the commonplace or ordinary scenes in the environment. These images offer us rare moments of solitude, time to slow down and observe the world around us, and to enjoy quiet beauty and serenity. reflection. I use water and light as beautiful threads that draw the eye in, providing an opportunity to examine nature. I use the platinum/palladium printing process to capture a softer, painterly effect, evoking late 19 th century idyllic landscapes and lending a poetic quality to the images. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Give and Take thread, watercolor paper, and foam board 15 x 24 My work draws on the rich histories of domestic customs and textile art, challenging the boundaries between fine art and craft, and celebrates embroidery as a powerful, expressive medium. Using color, geometry, and layered threads, I build compositions that invite close, intimate engagement. As light and perspective shift, the work subtly changes, encouraging moments of pause, reflection, and discovery. I focus on everyday thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and seek to create work that feels comforting and familiar. “Give and Take” came from noticing how often I try to show up for others, and how I am still learning to let others show up for me too. It’s about that quiet balance, wanting to give freely, but also realizing it’s okay to receive without feeling guilty. This piece holds that in-between space, where I am figuring out how to do both. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Fucking peachy...How are you? oil on panel 18 x 22 When I worked in tv, every day an editor would ask me, "How are you, today?". I would answer, "Fucking peachy...How are you?". My answer always made him happy. Hi, George. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Moods and Mists oil on belgian linen 31 x 31 This scene is an imagined seascape of drama and sensory immersion. I painted it after a walk on a December day when the clouds were steely grey, pulling apart to barely reveal a brilliant setting sun, but hiding the brilliance just a bit. The contrast of bright light fading into darkness struck a nerve, reminding me that light always triumphs over dark in the end. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Quiet Time watercolor 18 x 18 Captured moment of boys in time Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Wolfpack oil on wood panel 16 x 16 I started with a wolf I saw in the wild. I thought about how we encounter packs of "wolves" aka predators in everyday life in 2026. The wolf pack seemed a fit representation of our experience in the present time. I painted this in oil on a round panel, thinking about how these wolves, or predators seem to be all around us. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Hecate mixed media 29 x 25 Greek goddess of boundaries, crossroads, the Moon. The art incorporates a 1920's theme & faces from two of my other works, "Minoan Mata" & "Theda Bara". Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Wolf Moon Over the Boundary Waters ceramics: wood fired and soda fired stoneware 20 x 20 A response to Congress allowing a foreign country to commence copper nickel mining in the pristine, protected Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, this sculpture depicts a desolate moon hovering above forsaken wilderness. It is a protest piece. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • I Don't Want to Remember oil on linen canvas 20 x 16 I painted her from very personal place. She refuses to see because some memories are too much, and sometimes shutting the world out feels like the only way to stay whole. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Land of Harmony #4 oil pastel on archival rag paper 17 x 21 This is part of a series where I was experimenting with the joy of color and non-referential composition. For me it’s all about energy, rhythm, color, emotion, movement, rawness, fluidity, spontaneity and pure fun. The Land of Harmony series may evolve into larger paintings. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • You Will Outgrow Your Shoes sculpture: found objects 22 x 13 x 3.5 Relationship with Love (Family) Series...this piece was inspired by a song lyric: You will outgrow your shoes, but you will always be my baby. I think most parents think this way. I had the shoes, so as soon as I heard the lyric, I had my intention for this work. I have a daughter so this work was very personal for me and universal, thinking about all families. I used objects from different ages to create the narrative....diaper pin to engagement ring, skate key to car keys. The fan was given to me by a former student, and my daughter had a very similar one. So many stories, so many memories that we share. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Who are you? oil, acrylic on canvas 22 x 18 This work explores the fragile boundary between inner identity and external perception. A handwritten phrase within the composition — “The world teaches us to forget ourselves… but who are you?” — becomes a central conceptual element, framing the figure’s introspective state. The fragmented portrait emerges through layers of fluid paint, suggesting a process of self-recognition and reconstruction. The contrast between controlled figurative rendering and uncontrolled, flowing elements reflects the tension between social conditioning and inner truth. Through this work, I examine the act of remembering oneself in a world that imposes self-forgetting through social standards. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Held oil on canvas 60 x 60 Held explores how experience is carried and remains present over time. A saturated field of red is built through layered gestures, scraped passages, and areas where the paint thins and breathes. Earlier marks are not erased but absorbed, remaining active within the surface. Near the upper center, a pale form emerges—held but not fixed—while vertical traces rise and dissolve beneath it. The structure is felt rather than defined. The painting holds a space between vulnerability and stability, where something might have disappeared, but didn’t. Instead of collapse, there is openness. Instead of fracture, there is presence. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • The Decoy assemblage 30.5 x 22.5 x 1.25 I am intrigued by negative space, in this case the remnant pieces left over from a chair shape I had cut out of a sheet of lauan. There is no preconceived idea formed as I start working with the remnants. The shapes are used as is, they are not altered or refined outside of some light sanding of the edges. The effort in composing these disparate shapes into a cohesive whole is an exploration of rhythm and spacial balance. It is a process that I find continually engaging and satisfying as the pieces begin to come together to tell a story I would not have envisioned. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Cornered photography 20 x 16 My photography portfolios deal with beauty that I find in simple places. I search for art in places often overlooked by people rushing by: street abstractions formed by the effects of traffic and the erosion of painted lines; art in the visible layers of torn papers restructured by random anonymous participants; changes from weathering; oxidized rusted surfaces creating patterns and vistas; reflections in puddles, ponds, or store windows; ice patterns; simple arrangements of flowers and fruit at markets. And, as ever, there is the straight image: looking up, down, and around to catch that perfect image, THAT second in time never to be repeated. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Reflective acrylic paints, patinated coppers in various colors, cotton fabrics, dupioni silk, nylon mesh, mulberry fiber paper 20 x 24 I found an old diary from a teenaged European trip. I was reminded how much in awe I was in Venice of the way a sunset was reflecting on the water around the islands and boats. I didn't have a camera at the time, so I made sketches with my notes. This mixed media artwork is based on my recollections of that view of the Venetian Lagoon. It's acrylic painting with abstract mixed materials collage. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Abstract XII high fire glazed ceramic 15 x 10 x 9 Series of unique organic shapes created on the wheel, manipulated and assembled together to create an intricate motion inspiration by nature. • Boy and His Dog Named Moose charcoal on arches paper 22.5 x 28.5 Portraiture is an opportunity to portray light and intriguing form, and explore varied emotive qualities. In portraying individuals at different ages and life stages I engage themes of temporal change, individual vulnerability and human mortality. I reflect moments of inquisitiveness, strength, calm or vulnerability; traces of self-protection and openness; or glimmers of hopefulness, pride and earnestness emerge. As I preserve a moment in the subject’s evolution, I acknowledge the tumultuous forces and inevitable unstoppable sea of change we ride in life. The child’s and his dog’s intent gaze, and the connection, felt in this moment between these friends, are the subjects here. Moose is no longer alive, but the friendship with “his animal brother”, as he called him, is still palpable. The difficult and satisfying challenge in my portraiture is to portray some unarmed truth and in so doing to suggest our complex humanity and shared experience. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Cristo Redentor in Color fiber art 24 x 20 My artistic vision is rooted in the belief that art can exist purely for the sake of art itself, serving to make spaces more beautiful and enrich the environments in which we live. I aim for my work to evoke a sense of enjoyment, intrigue, happiness, and curiosity in those who experience it. My Brazilian heritage deeply influences my use of strong, bold colors, which I incorporate as a vibrant expression of my background. My overarching goal is for my art to be a cause of enjoyment, providing a positive impact on viewers and society by inspiring delight and curiosity. Success and fulfillment in my artistic journey come from creating artworks that I am proud of—pieces that bring me great joy and a sense of accomplishment. Through this evolving and deeply personal process, I hope to continuously connect with others and enrich the spaces we share. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Proteus bronze sculpture 12 x 14.25 x 15 Many cultures believean object, anumal or person gains additional attribute by changing forms. The octopus can change shapes or appearances. does shape-shifting ( meaning to change or move)has its origins in ancient myths and legens where gods, spirits and magical beings possesed this ability. In greek mythology, Proteus ,a sea god, possesed this ability. Certainly a positive trait today: to be able or capable of changing-hopefully moving into a positive direction. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • GoldLeaf acrylic on archival cradle board 24 x 24 I cleaned, dried and applied gold paint to one of a tree's organs (leaf) which acts as a primary food factory for a tree. Humans ought to regard leaves more precious than gold. Tree terpenes are aromatic compounds released by trees, particularly conifers, which offer significant health benefits to humans, including reduced stress, lower inflammation, and improved mood and are natural anti-inflammatories. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Woman Chained mixed media 12.5 x 9.5 Digital image, cut and torn pieces from prior art projects with waxed thread used to sew on a statement and torn magazine paper create the collage. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Where Social Memory Lands charcoal and acrylic on stretched canvas 24 x 24 In "Where Social Memory Lands" a piece from my Layered Gaze series, I investigate how collective imprints are stored and shared using figures and liminal portals to bridge personal narratives and communal experience. My process is an intuitive inquiry into the language of memory. Using charcoal and acrylic, the figures coalesce--sometimes through deliberate marks and other times by emerging from the canvas itself. These forms act as landing points for memories, representing the moments where our private stories meet a shared reality. Through this process, I acknowledge the power of these fleeting, narratives, inviting the viewer into a silent, collective history. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Back to the Sea archival pigment print on paper 24 x 18 I enjoy the discovery of interactions along the shoreline. There are endless possibilities as the tide changes, the weather turns, people come and go. There is freedom and fantasy as you get your toes in the sand and surf. I watched this young boy at play with this magical stick full of barnacles and at last in whatever story he had in mind he returned it respectfully to the sea. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Transmigration acrylic 36 x 60 In progress since 2015, transmigration meditates on death not as an ending, but as a threshold through which time, memory, and spirit continually pass. Transmigration explores grief and reverence, treating time as porous rather than linear, where past and future quietly coexist. I invites you to slow down, to listen for what remains after loss, and to consider passing as an intimate companion to life, shaping how we remember, transform, and endure. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Hot Flashes, 01 acrylic on cast iron pan 16 x 11 My current work is a documentary self-portrait as I go through pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding and postpartum. My sculptures, paintings and prints are a direct cry of motherhood pride and fragility. The work’s material properties: fragility, transparency, sturdiness, address the daily balance between vulnerability and stoicism. The work addresses the taboo topics of motherhood and challenges societal perceptions, advocating for the rights and lived experiences of mothers. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Respite oil on panel 13.25 x 11.25 We were on vacation and the more I looked at this sofa the more the cushions drew me in. When we got home I just had to paint it. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Sunspot for DG canvas, mirror, grout, acrylic paint, love 12 x 12 I work in light, reflected in mirror. I believe the energy from light has healing properties. I experience this healing in my process and hope you do as well. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • South Florida oil on canvas 18 x 24 In working on my painting "South Florida," I wanted to express my admiration for the natural beauty of this unique place. The rich diversity of flora and fauna. The bright sunlight. The rain washing the leaves of the tropical trees. The expanses of water and golden sand. The combination of the rich greenery, the sun-drenched houses, and the bright blue sky over the turquoise sea, all of this makes this place for me magically captivating. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Life and Death and the Inbetween oil on canvas 48 x 60 My work is informed by indian spiritual thought, mythology and lived experiences. My love for the many expressions of the natural world, such as, plants, animals, birds, appears throughout as symbolic imagery. This painting reflects on the quiet cycles of life- flowers blooming and wilting away, caterpillars becoming moths, moths drawn to light, and waves of thought rising and dissolving. An Introspection on themes of existence and transformation. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Tranquility oil on canvas 24 x 20 I painted this plein air surrounded by the peace of nature in a tranquil state at the start of spring Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Homesick photography: Digitally manipulated 21 x 17 Walking in the East Village, I was struck by the graffiti shouting out HOMESICK on the side of the building. The message can be interpreted in many ways...Longing for home, disappointment in seeing the neighborhood change, or on closer inspection... what is lost, as can be read in the partial message "the buildings we lose, are as important...." The strong statement, the blank white of where the building had been, along with the diagonals underscoring HOMESICK and the painterly weatherworn posters along the wall, come together to create an impactful visual image. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Crossing the Stream oil on canvas 20 x 17 This artist has established a reputation for her authoritative capture of rural landscapes and equine sporting events—foxhunting and wildlife in rich natural landscapes. Her passion and focus lies in capturing the emotionality and timelessness of these traditional subjects, rendered through her unique palette and compelling brushwork. She was a Signature Member and Vice President of the American Academy of Equine Art (now defunct). She is also a member of the Salmagundi Club and AIS (American Impressionist Society), and juries into exhibits with all of these organizations. She is collected nationally. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Vibrant Poppy Glow - Scotland photograph on wrapped canvas 24 x 24 While walking through a Scottish garden, I encountered this extraordinary poppy growing and knew it had to be photographed. In Lightroom, I isolated the flower, blurred and darkened the surrounding garden to pure black, allowing the color and architecture of the bloom to speak without distraction. The ruffled white petals spreading wide against a pure black background draw the eye inward to the magenta-green center — a surprise that rewards the viewer repeatedly. That unexpected burst of color and design at the heart of something so classically simple is what makes this image compelling to me. I photograph flowers the way the Dutch Golden Age masters painted them: as they are, not as we might wish them to be. The shadows falling across these petals are real. The raindrops are real. I do not correct nature's imperfections, because they are not imperfections — they are evidence that this flower lived. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Sunlit Reverie acrylic on illustration board 18 x 23 Sunlit Reverie features the Charles Engelhard Courtyard at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It is one of my favorite spots to pause in after visiting some of the galleries. The courtyard is a skylit sculpture filled space that one can wander through or just sit in and take in the mise-en-scene. Sunlit Reverie is also an exploration of how light defines perceptions of a physical space and the objects in it.: The limitations and illusory aspect of perception has always intrigued me; specifically, the ambiguity of light and shadow, and how it determines how we see colors, values and forms. • Circles Dance 2 sculpture: piano key parts, plexiglass, plywood, stain 25 x 10 x 10 CIRCLE DANCE 2 began taking form when a friend gave me a bagful of piano keys and parts. The varied shapes and elements led me to create a work that playfully celebrates its patterns and gentle rhythm. I added clear plexiglass rods to give the piece breathing room while contributing to its overall structure. The plywood base serves as a counterpoint to the verticality of the sculpture. The sea green color I chose adds to the work’s quiet flow. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • With Hope of Ending World Hunger mixed media 30 x 24 My Sculptural Painting, “In Hope of Ending World Hunger” was created with this sentiment in mind. My inspiration comes from working in food banks and donating food to those in need, as well as the attention this needy cause deserves. I combined 3- dimensional elements with my oil painted portrait to better bring this portrait with its humanitarian theme to life. Cloth and burlap, sculpted hands that reach out beyond the flat oil painted portrait, and an authentic hand carved bowl from Africa, compel viewers to consider and confront the daunting issue of World Hunger, as we look into mesmerizing eyes that represent 673-783 million people who still go hungry today. Perhaps the image of this piece will foster an appreciation for all we have and be a catalyst for donations of food and funding. • Summer Syncopation watercolor on paper 10 x 8 Life Force was created during my residency in Ireland. While there, I was struck by how alive the land feels...even the stones. We visited many stone circles and I realized that, for centuries, so many others stood before those same stones...and I felt the connection, the shared life force of us all: the stones, the land, the human beings and the animals... and I felt deeply humbled and grateful. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.

  • Blooming oil on canvas 26 x 26 I have always been neurodivergent, and that created a lot of self-criticism. • Standing Room Only sculpture: bronze/cast glass 10 x 14 x 8 This piece is the first in a series of sculptures that I plan to create around the theme of extinction. • Sweet Pea collage 16.5 x 16.5 I go out west to Oregon a lot to see my kids. I was there last May and saw sweet peas growing wild all over the hill behind my son’s house. I picked a bunch and took pictures and started calling my grandson, “Sweet Pea”. This painting is for him. He is a colorful character with lots of layers and textures, just like sweet peas. • Covid 19 Series Study 3 charcoal, ink, watercolor on paper 16 x 16 Covid 19 Series Study 3 by Linda McCune is a preliminary drawing for a larger work. It contemplates the point in the covid pandemic when humanity all over the world had cheated death and seemed to be trying to find courage even in uncertainty to emerge from their isolation. Some testimony from personal experiences of the physical and emotional barriers, as well as the confusion, and strange hope of this dark span when millions died seems imperative to commit to paper. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Berkshire Afternoon acrylic with pastel and graphite on canvas 32 x 27 The ideas of time and place are explored with nontraditional color palettes and a combination of forms and mark making. • Where New Light Rises oil and cold wax on paper 18 x 14 Thickly applied textures evoke seeds of change, while the bright orange symbolizes the burning away of what’s no longer needed. Inspired by the transition from the year of the snake (2025) to the year of the horse (2026), this artwork captures the energy of shedding the old to welcome new beginnings. Full of movement, depth, and a fluid, organic feel, it’s a celebration of transformation and fresh light rising—like the quiet turning of the seasons, where light gently reshapes the landscape within. • Color Clique acrylic on gallery edge wrapped canvas 30 x 24 The poetic and gestural beauty of flowers are a consistent source of inspiration. Their infinite color, variety and textures elicit an energetic, emotional shift. • Wild Cyclamen acrylic and charcoal on canvas 23 x 19.5 With a background in the biological sciences and a lifelong love of nature, I seek natural forms and organic shapes in particular. Colour is a very important element of my pieces, and with strong brushstrokes, I aim to capture the energy of the wild places of the world, albeit in the Aruban desert or the tangled undergrowth of the city's parks. My abstract pieces begin life as intuitive markmaking, and with layers of colour they assume a botanical quality as they progress. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Chamber with Centurions #2 acrylic on wood panel 8 x 8 Inspired by Lee Krasner, this collage is made from parts of abandoned paintings. I cut out compositional elements I could salvage from a failed painting on paper and by rearraning them on a fresh surface composed a new work. I like giving an alternative life to select elements that were not in a supportive environment in a previous painting. By releasing selected shapes from a disastrous work, a new painting can emerge. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.

  • Garden of Happiness acrylic with pastes on canvas 37 x 37 Although my practice emphasizes abstract expressionism, I often paint florals when I am feeling gray. At the time that I put brush to paint and created Garden of Happiness I was struggling with a health issue. When I was able to get up the energy to face an empty canvas, I visualized sprays of greenery and thought if I could manage to bring out their color, just their sight would help me feel alive again.
