I started working with a light box when I was diagnosed with seasonal affective disorder and I found sitting in front of a light box helped my mood and sleep. I started creating temporary collages and photographing and sharing them on line. I called them luminaries.

I work with cut out figures and cut out designs, still on a light box, striving for balance, looking for harmony of shape and color. This piece is part of a series: ‘Paper Dolls/Light Ladies, 2026.
