  • Bird on a Wire acrylic paint on cradled wood panel with collaged papers and pen 12 x 12 The symbolism in my piece involves a bird, a ladder, and a woman. The bird on a wire sitting over the woman represents the tension between freedom and confinement. The thin wire suggests vulnerability. The image of the woman holding flowers suggests vulnerability and beauty. But because she is wearing a hard hat she also represents empowerment which shows beauty and strength coexisting. The ladder is there to show the rising or courage of both the bird and woman to break free. I like using the imagery of ladders in most of my work. In this piece, in combination with the wire, it supports the meaning of the delicate balance in life. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Brooklyn in Bloom oil on canvas 24 x 24 This piece was inspired by quiet summer moments in Sunset Park, where I would pause and take in the contrast between nature and the city. The vibrant flowers felt alive, while Manhattan appeared distant, almost like mirage softened by light and atmosphere. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Tropical Fugue fiber art 64 x 61 Tropical Fugue was inspired by memories of Bali. Songbird serenades, expansive skies, and fleeting, cherished moments. My process is rooted in trust and a willingness to surrender control. The real magic unfolds in the midst of making. I embrace spontaneity and the unexpected, allowing fabrics to speak and respond to one another in a vibrant, evolving conversation. For this piece, I began by assembling organic fragments of varying shapes and sizes into intuitive motifs. These forms gradually suggested bird-like presences, emerging as focal points. Set against a white background, I arranged and rearranged these silhouettes, creating rhythm and movement. Surrounding borders were added to frame and contain their energy. Freehand machine quilting became the final layer, adding depth, cohesion, and texture. Each fabric carries its own history, gathered from distant places, its story stitched into the whole. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • No Smoking oil on canvas 14 x 14 I don’t have any statement. Artwork should talk by itself. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Farm watercolor, acrylic, graphite, and paper collage on bristol 23 x 19 “Farm” is a collaged piece using a mixed media combination of watercolor, acrylic, paper, and graphite with blocked shapes of color and organic textures. Tall grain silos, dark interiors of tobacco barns, gates, hay, pumpkins, wagons, and carts inspired this collage of an old SC farm work site. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Eve with Daughters mixed media: oil on linen and scrim, sculpture wire 120 x 60 I worked instinctively on this piece draping the raw linen which took the form of a female figure. I saw that it took on the image in my mind of Eve with her daughters. I incorporated sculpture wire to inside hidden seems. My objective was to show Eve passing down knowledge to her daughters. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Leonore acrylic paint and ink on canvas 22 x 18 Leonore Emma Ponton, 1902-1996, my great-grandmother on my father’s side, is a figure I remember only in brief but vivid impressions from childhood. My dad often told us that she had Native ancestry, and as a child, that idea felt both meaningful and mysterious. In a family of light skin and blue eyes, she stood apart—her olive complexion, dark brown eyes, and jet-black hair giving her a presence that felt both striking and quietly powerful. I may never know with certainty the full truth of her heritage, but over time I’ve come to appreciate that identity can live as much in story and feeling as in documented fact. I’m drawn to the symbolism of the oriole, a bird some Native traditions associate with the sun—bright, warm, and full of life. In other cultural interpretations, orioles are seen as messengers, moving between the spiritual and physical worlds. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • We Bring the Fire #2 acrylic 25 x 19 Women provide the creative spark. This piece is full of exciting colors and textures. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Spiritual Journey acrylic on canvas 40 x 30 Spiritual Journey arises from my own meditation practice and the inner landscapes I’ve traveled in silence. The seated figure reflects the stillness I return to, yet the luminous spiral at the core mirrors the movement I feel within—a quiet unfolding that guides me toward deeper truth. This spiral became the heart of the painting, a symbol of the soul’s path as I have experienced it. The serpent-like current ascending through the body echoes the sensations of awakening and renewal that surface in meditation. As it transforms into flame at the crown, it speaks to the moments of clarity that come only through surrender. The gold and white wings surrounding the figure evoke the unseen protection and grace I’ve sensed along my own spiritual path. This work invites viewers to pause and recognize their own evolving light, just as I continue to recognize mine. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Stardust encaustic on cradled panel 10 x 10 For me the experience of encaustics is very focused and feels a bit dangerous—you have to keep the temperature just right so it doesn’t overheat and yet there is still a flow in application. I feel like I’m joyously painting with volcanic lava. As I worked on this piece it started to suggest its theme was the night sky and our expanding universe. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Jade acrylic on canvas 20 x 16 In painting portraits the challenge is to capture the personality and cultural identity of the subject. I strive to do that. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • The Weight of Memory graphite and charcoal on canvas 32 x 24 “The Weight of Memory” was inspired by the quiet, interior space a musician enters when sound and recollection overlap. I kept thinking about how the body remembers—how hands on an instrument can carry decades of practice, longing, and unspoken history. Rather than depicting a specific narrative, I wanted the figure and guitar to hold that layered, almost tactile sense of memory: weighty yet ephemeral, grounded yet always shifting. Working in graphite and charcoal allowed me to stay close to that feeling. I began with careful drawing from observation to honor the structure of the body and instrument, then slowly built up layers of marks, erasures, and re-drawing. I focused on the relationship between the hands and the worn surface of the guitar, using shifts in edge, texture, and value to suggest how some memories stay sharply in focus while others dissolve into shadow. Throughout, I aimed for a balance between Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Taiyo acrylic on canvas 48 x 36 TAIYO in the Japanese culture primarily means "the sun" representing energy, light and vitality. Considering the state of our country I wanted to paint something that would be understood across cultures. The sun is life-giving for all of humankind and I've interpreted it through an abstract lens. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Antique Apple Harvest pastel 18 x 22 I worked hard to raise these apples and when I picked them, I was so pleased I had to paint them. When I painted them however I realized I loved the old tin orchard bucket just as much. Painting is a poem, a song, and sometimes a revelation. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Heliconia Carbaea Collage acrylic, fabric, monoprints, printed metal and handmade papers 36 x 36 As a painter and printmaker, I create layered mixed media paintings exploring memories and dreams. I have been inspired by nature from a young age and that influence colors my work with optimism, mood and color. I reconstruct the textures that feel familiar and insert them into each piece. I believe art is therapy, for myself and my viewers. My heart sings when someone connects with the emotions and thoughts that poured into my work. I use a combination of acrylic paint, gold leaf, handmade paper, thin pressed metal and fabric as compositional elements in my work. The use of symbolic imagery such as trees, animals, florals and birds, invites my viewers to reflect on the harmonious elements in nature that promote our interconnection. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Blossom acrylic on fabric with hand stitching 11 x 7.5 Working intuitively, Blossom emerged during the creative process. While painting the cotton muslin, I focused on how the paint could create textures and mark making. After piecing my fabric to create the collage, I used hand stitching to continue my color harmonies and line work, and to give the artwork structure. As the piece developed, the botanical image became the focal point. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Extra Small Work with a Diagonal ink on Washi paper 11 x 11 This piece is a continuation of my Ink Meanderings and from a series of extra small works created in 2025. Using dip pen and ink on paper, I create series of repetitive lines that look different up close than from a distance. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • When Time Bends acrylic 20 x 24 A moment where past and future soften, folding into a single, living present. Time bends, curves, and gathers, forming a field of motion where opposing directions converge. What appears as forward movement is also a return—a reconfiguration. In this shifting space, transformation is not abrupt but continuous, an unfolding that holds both memory and emergence at once. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Ensemble II reclaimed wood 10 x 7 x 6 Lilian creates expressive, abstract sculptural forms inspired by nature and the human fig-ure. Her work emphasizes fluid movement, balance, and the inherent energy within each material. Working with reclaimed wood, she emphasizes our connection to the environment. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Cracking Open acrylic and collage on canvas 14 x 11 Last summer, I broke my arm in an auto accident. I spent a couple of months healing and staying close to home. Slowly, I started emerging back into the world. I wanted to portray the feeling of being broken but ready to leave my protected environment. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Erinna airbrush with acrylic paint on smooth paper 25 x 29 The pre-Raphaelite style lends itself to paintings by airbrush and I wanted an image that portrayed someone from antiquity. The poet’s shawl is a patchwork of designs, and I used a paintbrush to try to make it flow. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Sarasota Circuit digital art on HD Meta 38 x 34 “Sarasota Circuit” explores structure as a responsive system shaped by environment. Rectilinear forms and linear pathways establish a controlled framework, while intersections and extensions suggest continuous movement rather than fixed endpoints. The composition reads as an open circuit—nodes connect, redirect, and adapt without full closure. The work draws from the principles of the Sarasota School of Architecture, including the influence of Paul Rudolph, where modernist structures are defined by light, climate, and spatial flow. The yellow field functions as both ground and illumination, activating surrounding forms and reinforcing a sense of atmosphere rather than containment. Surface weathering and overdrawn marks register time within the system—evidence of adjustment rather than erosion. Color operates as signal, guiding movement through areas of density and release. The result is a system that is ordered, adaptive, and continuously revised. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Nesting linen, watercolor paper, acrylic, and archival glue 15 x 13.5 When I begin an artwork, I often use a method to stimulate my subconscious. It is a unique, reductive method I use for collages. I begin by painting patterns, textures, lines and spatters on a large sheet of watercolor paper or linen. I look at the painted surface, add more where needed, until images start to appear, waiting to be liberated from the chaotic background. Then I carve out the objects with a knife. It’s almost like drawing with a knife. When I have enough, I can start assembly, piece by piece until their shapes are fully realized. I use these instead of the found-images traditionally used for collages, such as photos, magazine pictures, etc. I can also adapt a similar version of this technique to canvases, without cutting. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Bad Break Up photography 21 x 31 The layers of a street tell its history. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Where the Mermaids Live acrylic texture and paint on gallery wrapped canvas 24 x 18 There are magical coves on some shorelines with tidal pools and caves. The waves come and go freely but the inhabitants are more restricted. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Kip's Angel liquid acrylic, watercolor, transfer on canvas 23 x 20 An image was selected from a graveyard photo series captured by this artist then used as a transfer and combined with painting (artist's competency) on canvas. It was part of an Angel series executed over a few years during severe personal physical events. Angels were always solicited during that time and were always there for me and still are. In particular, it honored the passing of a dear friend's partner, Kip, thus it's name. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Potato Chip Bag Colorado Yule marble and 3D printed chips 33 x 33 x 58 We are submitting our work for flatscreen consideration only and/or online A larger-than-life "Potato Chips" bag turns a familiar object into something monumental. Carved in marble with a crumpled, caught-in-motion form, the bag feels alive, while the 3D-printed chips spilling out sit light against its weight. The result is a conversation between old and new, hand and machine, nostalgia and the moment we're in now. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Salumeria Famiglia Bruno Venturini, Venezia, Italy photograph 8 x 8 My husband and I were walking around Venice and found this wonderful little store selling wine and gourmet pantry items. As I was talking with the proprietor I noticed there was an old photo of the store with an inset photo of a man which I was told was the owner's father.  I asked if I could photograph Venturinis holding the photo to document his family's long history in Venice.  Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Gazing in Color oil on canvas 20 x 16 In this painting, I followed the idea that life is not fully understood. It can feel like learning, illusion, or something beyond explanation. I wanted to reflect that sense of not knowing in the woman’s eyes and in the surrounding space that shifts and flows, in changing shapes and colors. The woman is open to what is present, noticing the beauty around her and allowing different feelings to arise without trying to define them. I used radiant colors to create a sense of movement and atmosphere, while deeper greens bring in a connection to nature and a feeling of grounding. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Frequency 01 solarplate etching, black and silver thread 12 x 12 "Frequency 01" is part of a series and the product of my fascination and experimentation with the Solarplate Etching printmaking technique. Having as starting point a photograph depicting the shadows casted by the light as I lifted the cut paper I was working at the time; I explore symmetry, repetition and pattern and I create my works by combining materials such as black and silver thread. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Global Series - Bear Hugs ink on paper 18 x 18 Global Series is meant as a gentle reminder that humanity is not separate from nature but a part of it. In Bear Hugs, polar bears are portrayed in a circular format to represent life on Earth and a loving embrace. The red dot represents the Sun, warmth and the need to stop and consider the effect humanity has on the natural world. This is a diptych of serigraphs so the pricing is for the pair. Serigraphy, commonly known as silkscreen printing, is the hand-made printmaking mode. The most important part of the process for Zimmerman is making great drawings. She understands this and creates her drawings, not only as works of art on their own, but thinking about how they will translate into serigraphs. Her thoughtful use of the white of the paper, her textured shading and her attention to the negative space are all essential in her drawings and her silkscreens. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • “Never clip my wings “(Amy Winehouse-Nightingale bird) oil on linen 30 x 24 My portrait of Amy Winehouse is inspired by a rare charisma, immense talent, and unforgettable voice. like bright star, she shon intensely yet fed too soon. While learning about her life, I was drown to her tattoo a bird with word never click my wings. in my painting. The bird is no longer confined -it flies freely symbolizing the freedom she longed for. I chose vibrant, joyful color to preserve her in a moment of beauty while gently echoing the fragile line between brilliance and loss. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Living Enlightenment I acrylic, oil on canvas 24 x 24 "Living Enlightenment I" emerged from an intuitive line practice. During the drawing process, the artist experienced an intense movement of energy accompanied by a simultaneous feeling of joy and heightened awareness. The resulting composition became a visual record of that moment: layered currents of movement surround a central presence, suggesting the dynamic flow of inner forces while awareness remains awake and quietly playful. This work marks the beginning of the artist’s Living Enlightenment series, an exploration of consciousness within the energetic complexity of human life. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Mixed Metaphor acrylic on canvas 58 x 44 The work was prompted after listening to a recent press conference at the White House. A haiku accompanies the painting: I wrote it as I worked on the art. "A mixed metaphor - A demimonde rules a land - Based on due process." Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • The Ridge in Mist oil on panel 6 x 6 This painting began from a photograph I took while hiking in dense mist, where everything from the trees to myself, was soaked and quietly dripping. The atmosphere was beautifully subdued, and the steady rhythm of dripping water felt almost hypnotic. Along the ridge, a lone tree stood resilient against the haze, its presence both subtle and striking. Something about its quiet strength drew me in and compelled me to paint the scene. Through softened edges and muted tones, I aimed to capture not just the landscape, but the immersive stillness and sensory experience of that moment. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Pattern Play acrylic monoprints collaged on canvas 20 x 20 Pattern Play explores rhythm and visual momentum through a collage of my monoprints, developed from an initial black-and-white composition sketch and realized through printing, cutting, and assembly. Strips of black, white, and gray carry varied textures and mark-making—ghosted prints, scraped surfaces, and stenciled motifs—that create a tactile field of repetition and interruption. Small, deliberate red accents act like visual punctuation, pulling the eye back and forth across the plane and breaking the monochrome rhythm with moments of heat and pause. The work investigates the dialogue between order and improvisation: geometric alignment and repeated patterning hold the composition together, while unexpected textures and irregular edges introduce vitality and tension. Layering is central to the piece, inviting viewers to trace the history of each mark and to experience pattern as movement rather than a static surface Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Drumming Hands photography: digitally enhanced 20 x 16 Drumming Hands When taking this photo of a Gullah drummer, I purposely set a slow shutter speed to capture the blurred movement of the hands, while keeping everything else in the photo in focus. The hands display strength, endurance, and power, all attributes of the enslaved Gullah Geechee people. Originating from African traditions, music and drumming continue to be fundamental aspects of Gullah Geechee culture. Equipment and settings: Nikon D850, 300mm lens, f/11, 1/125 Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Naschmarkt, Vienna oil on canvas 20 x 16 The color, form and composition of these peppers in the wonderful Naschmarkt made for a wonderful memento of a good trip. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Lake and Sky oil on canvas 12 x 23 It fascinates me how the sky quickly evolves; as the wind blows the clouds, the light dances, layering, and changing colors. Nature capturing motion and color. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Just Breathe... photograph digitally enhanced 12 x 12 I started working with a light box when I was diagnosed with seasonal affective disorder and I found sitting in front of a light box helped my mood and sleep. I started creating temporary collages and photographing and sharing them on line. I called them luminaries. I work with cut out figures and cut out designs, still on a light box, striving for balance, looking for harmony of shape and color. This piece is part of a series: 'Paper Dolls/Light Ladies, 2026. Archival paper and ink print. 1/1 Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Gaia cashmere, silk sari, paper, pencil, cotton 30 x 15 Inspired by the green silk sari fabric wrapped around soft cashmere cord and weaved into the Irish Knot Embroidery, where there is no beginning and no end. The title Gaia came naturally. It turned out to be a scientific hypothesis that the living and nonliving components of earth function as a single system. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Glimpses of Eliza encaustic wax with writing, photograph of face, and embedded flowers on wood cradled panel 11 x 9 My great-great grandmother Eliza had her world collapse in 1863 with the death of her husband and loss of their plantation. In this image of a young woman, I see a serenity in Eliza's young face and glimpses of the dreams she held. I've included bits of the love letters from her husband John. Then I've surrounded her with real flowers and leaves, growing upward as she must have with marriage and children. Here, I see a mystery that transcends time and place. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Life acrylic & watercolors 16 x 8 "Life" reveals growth as a force that pushes through pressure, texture, and time- a quiet emergence shaped by fracture, memory, and the will to continue. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Stormside charcoal, gypsum & pastel on board 16 x 12 My piece hopes to express the times we live in--- a troubled world that's moving faster than we can grasp, where fear and daring are a game that, in the end, no one can win. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • She nylon, felted wool and glass on handmade paper 12 x 18 This piece represents my search to find my new identity. I recently lost the love of my life. Now I am alone to face the world. In my work with handmade paper, felted wool and fabric, I use materials that I have used over and over again. They are my comfort "food".Hopefully working with familiar materials in new ways will help me move forward as an individual. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Life Shield Series: Creation Dance#2 acrylic and cut paper on round canvas 20 x 20 The Life Shield Series are part of my invented universe, they are both tangible and a virtual reality. The shapes were inspired by pictographic images made by many different indigenous peoples but I have taken symbolic shapes and meanings, and transformed them into my own language.   At first, the designs may appear chaotic, but they are not. They are intense meditations, meant to calm the soul. They are receptacles for positive energy. The designs are contained within a circle, a mandala, a protective shield, an armor for life’s journey. My Life Shields are connected to the cosmos and do  have universal meaning. They are spiritual and communicate a life force energy and balance. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Salad, Deconstructed colored pencil 18 x 23 Realism is the style that I have embraced for my work. Perhaps the truth is that it embraced me, with inspiration coming from the world around me. This pile of vegetables from the garden was a perfect subject. It featured lots of detail, lots of vibrant color and worked into a pleasing composition. I hope the viewer enjoys seeing it as much as I did creating it. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Victorian Bride (The Gilded Age, 1870) collage w/ hand-cut found paper, NY Times, ink 13 x 10 Olivia Langdon married American writer and humorist Samuel Clemons in Elmira, NY, in 1870. Together they had 3 daughters, including Susy, Clara and Jean. Their son Langdon died of diphtheria in 1872 at the age 19 months. Her husband Mark Twain wrote under his pen name in their gazebo in Hartford, CT. She was a faithful, judicious, and painstaking editor for her husband. Olivia was also a proponent of women's rights, and surrounded herself with influential women including educator Julia Beecher and Isabella Beecher Hooker, abolitionist and suffragette. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Turning and turning in the widening gyre collage: painted paper mounted on paper 11 x 7.5 My daily practice is to create a small collage every morning on awakening. Each is different, using different papers; some papers are painted like the ones used in this artwork, others are cut from magazines. The title is the first line of W.B. Yeats "The Second Coming". The work of daily practice makes it possible to face the day, which is filled with bad news at home an abroad. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Pink Sands mixed media on paper 7 x 9.5 This artwork is inspired by the freedom and happiness I feel near the ocean. Every summer my Mom would load myself and my siblings into our Aspen station wagon and drive 12 hours straight to my grandparents 4 room beach cottage near Boston. By leaving my Dad behind to work, we could all relax. I have many happy memories of beach vacations with family and friends throughout my life. My abstract art attempts to convey those feelings but not specific place. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
