When working in an abstract manner, my first priority is the color direction, I am interested in working with. As an intuitive painter, I let my mood of the moment determine where the piece is going. I then add elements of design and images, such as letters and numbers in a subtle manner, to enhance the visual process. I am also concerned about the range of values I choose, as I am also a high contrast painter. In the end, I am looking for a pleasing arrangement of shapes and colors that will pull the viewer in!
