“Frequency 01” is part of a series and the product of my fascination and experimentation with the Solarplate Etching printmaking technique. Having as starting point a photograph depicting the shadows casted by the light as I lifted the cut paper I was working at the time; I explore symmetry, repetition and pattern and I create my works by combining materials such as black and silver thread.
