I created what I thought was a fictional version of history with women of a certain age during the Cold War. This piece is part of my Housewife Operative series that examines the role of women in that era, which I have subsequently discovered to be true, women did work as spies (for centuries, in fact). The color palette and iconography create a game like tone for a truly dangerous endeavor.
