Cascade 3
printmaking: monotype on Hahnemuhle copperplate paper
21 x 17

This monotype is part of a series of explorations of falling water, inspired by a visit to Mammoth Lakes, California, following a drought. A rainfall had just provided a bit of relief, allowing for water to cascade down rocks and inclines. It reminds of the preciousness of water. The process allowed the movement of ink on plate to mimic the movement of water, with gravity pulling it over rocks and growth.
