CIRCLE DANCE 2 began taking form when a friend gave me a bagful of piano keys and parts. The varied shapes and elements led me to create a work that playfully celebrates its patterns and gentle rhythm. I added clear plexiglass rods to give the piece breathing room while contributing to its overall structure. The plywood base serves as a counterpoint to the verticality of the sculpture. The sea green color I chose adds to the work’s quiet flow.
