As a metal artist, I am captivated by the dialogue between strength and softness, where steel and delicate curves intertwine. This sculpture begins with a clay face, grounded and resolute, symbolizing resilience. From this foundation, metal feathers emerge, catching an imagined wind and embodying freedom and motion.
The clay anchors the piece to the earth, while each feather represents a movement and tells a story of persistence and care. Working with these materials together, I aim to create a harmonious balance that reflects the complexities of the human experience—where strength meets vulnerability and aspiration takes flight.
