• Inheritance of Wings watercolor 17 x 21 In "Inheritance of Wings", I use menstrual blood as both material and meaning, something deeply personal, yet intentionally shared. By bringing it into the work, I confront the discomfort and stigma surrounding the female body, reframing it as something natural, powerful, and worthy of respect. A central figure shields herself as sparrows move around her, representing the presence of community and family. The piece reflects the experience of choosing growth, leaving harm, setting boundaries, or stepping into a different life and the resistance that can come from those closest to us. The act of shielding is not fear, but awareness. It is the quiet moment of protecting oneself while still moving forward. This work is about breaking cycles, holding onto your sense of self, and finding strength in becoming something different than what was expected. • Fluffy photography: digitally enhanced 20 x 23 I had never seen a flamingo in real life, so I made it my mission during the Christmas holiday to find at least one—and I succeeded. I dreamed of capturing their graceful shape, poised stance, and, above all, their stunning color, yearning to be immersed in the beauty of their feathers. This past winter, that dream came true. I hope you, too, can delight in being enveloped by the rich texture and vibrant hues of this magnificent and exotic bird. • Dress No. 6 printmaking 14 x 11 Shopping for a granddaughter's birthday present, I saw this dress in a Philadelphia clothing store. I photographed it and turned it into a relief print. The surprising thing about it is that the plate is made by using layers of masking tape! I inked the plate and used Chine-colle to add the red and yellow shapes to the plate before it was run through the press. • Golden Hour oil on canvas 25 x 37 This painting explores a network of entangled vegetation in an imaginary tropical landscape. I try to capture light, entwined linear elements and brilliant color of these wild plant forms bursting with life. It's a symphony of movement, color and rhythmic mark-making that culminates in that ethereal light circulating in the center, pulsing with a spiritual energy. It becomes a metaphor for my inner landscape with its tangled network of nerves seeking balance and calm. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Guardian mixed media: sculpture frame with hand cast dichroic cabochon, glass mosaic, seed bead mosaic, painting and 24k gold 14 x 12 My work comes from a place of unwritten yet familiar tales, of nature and cathedrals, of ancient and undiscovered sacred places found in forests and along the banks of rivers, inside a dream. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • A Cautionary Tale freehand digital painting, archival pigment on canvas 16 x 20 In "A Cautionary Tale" we see a young woman becoming an elderly woman before our eyes. She has wasted her precious life, lost in social media for decades and decades. The phone has become distorted. On the walls the years overlap and melt from one year to another. The calendar also displays the emptiness of her life. This painting was inspired after reading several articles about how many young people spend an average of 6 hours a day on social media. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Leonore acrylic paint and ink on canvas 22 x 18 Leonore Emma Ponton, 1902-1996, my great-grandmother on my father’s side, is a figure I remember only in brief but vivid impressions from childhood. My dad often told us that she had Native ancestry, and as a child, that idea felt both meaningful and mysterious. In a family of light skin and blue eyes, she stood apart—her olive complexion, dark brown eyes, and jet-black hair giving her a presence that felt both striking and quietly powerful. I may never know with certainty the full truth of her heritage, but over time I’ve come to appreciate that identity can live as much in story and feeling as in documented fact. I’m drawn to the symbolism of the oriole, a bird some Native traditions associate with the sun—bright, warm, and full of life. In other cultural interpretations, orioles are seen as messengers, moving between the spiritual and physical worlds. • South Mountain Trail pastel on paper 17 x 21 My artwork is an expression of the joy and peace I experience while enjoying nature. I choose to work with soft pastels because I love their versatility and directness of application. The beautiful pure pigments are perfect for depicting the way light plays off the colors and textures in nature. This pastel painting was inspired by a hike near my home in Rockland County, NY. I hope to convey not only the beauty of this scene but also the experience of the hike. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Evening Sky oil on canvas 18 x 24 I am constantly in awe of nature. When I paint, I translate that magic and wonder into images of paint on canvas and I feel like time has never passed. I am always excited to challenge myself to express the beauty around me and that keeps me learning. As I paint, the constant challenges of creating my vision keep me forever young and I glory in the world around me as I did when I was a child. Painting my vision of the world makes me transcend my everyday reality. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Glenda's Barn watercolor 14 x 21.5 When I find stillness and clarity in the world around me, I thrive on the expression and emotions that my work helps me share with others. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Red Blouse acrylic 10 x 20 For a long time I have been painting people, in train stations, in streets. This painting was inspired while watching people in an art gallery. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.

  • Pitcher Plants / Hen and Biddies collage: paper, pen and oil 12.5 x 12.5 Like most Artist I paint my surroundings. I am a lifelong nature lover, My work focus on the pets , livestock, and the rural landscapes that shape my daily life. My earliest inspiration came from childhood walks with my grandmother in the woods, discovering hidden wonders like the wild pitcher plants she called "hen and biddies" These memories continue to guide my work as I create pieces that honor the quiet beauty of rural life. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Crosses II collage 28 x 18 The work developed initially from the advertisement for aspirin for a miserable mother. It led me to consider the roles of religion and stereotypical gender roles in trapping us in a rigid societal framework. "Crosses" references the multiple meanings of cross depicted: anger, religion, cross-dressing. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Triumph (Sarlat-la-Caneda, France) oil on canvas 43.5 x 61.5 Common in Europe since Medieval times, this pollard tree is in the Dordogne region, where prehistoric cave paintings by early man were found. The seemingly brutal cuts of “pollarding” encourage new growth of multiple branches, making them fuller and stronger. It’s a metaphor for the terrible difficulties we may all have experienced. Yet we can recover to find that we are stronger than before and have grown in other ways. Essentially, it’s about victory over brutality. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Remembering a special friend acrylic on canvas 48 x 180 This 15-ft-long (triptych) painting is a vessel for a spirit that could never be contained by a standard canvas. The scale demands the viewer's full physical presence, much like he did in life. The painting captures the vibrant wake left behind. This is not a quiet memorial but a loud immersive celebration of a soul that lived at full volume. Every stroke and color choice translates a profound personal loss into a shared space of reflection and power. This work stands as a testament to a life lived without reservation, offering a place where the magnitude of his absence is met by the magnitude of this tribute. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Under Lock and Key charcoal on paper 24 x 18 Under Lock and Key reflects a state of emotional guardedness—the instinct to remain closed off out of fear of vulnerability and harm. The composition is deliberately constrained within an elongated vertical oval, echoed by a custom mat and enclosed within a metal frame, creating a physical and visual barrier that separates the viewer from the image. At the same time, there is an underlying sense of resilience. The sharp, unyielding forms suggest a kind of steadfastness—an ability to hold one’s ground without wavering. This tension between protection and endurance speaks to the complexity of self-preservation: the ways we shield ourselves, and the strength it takes to withstand what presses against us. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Stone Soul acrylic on found wood, found stone 13 x 7 x 7 I am attracted to working with found objects, and have eventually created quite a few found assemblages as a result. I believe they are sometimes called objet trouvé —and I agree with the consensus that what I like is the way I can take discarded objects and can transform and recontextualize and give new life and new aesthetic value. I especially like the way the “real” is transformed into the “surreal” through my creative process. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Eve with Daughters mixed media: oil on linen and scrim, sculpture wire 120 x 60 I worked instinctively on this piece draping the raw linen which took the form of a female figure. I saw that it took on the image in my mind of Eve with her daughters. I incorporated sculpture wire to inside hidden seems. My objective was to show Eve passing down knowledge to her daughters. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Transient oil on birchwood panel 14 x 11 I love working with oil paint and people inspire most of my work. The model who posed for this painting , Emily Metalskin, is one of the most inspiring models I have had the pleasure of working with; a consummate professional her poses evoke unique characteristics. In “Transient"I painted her as a woman experiencing the quandary of being a lone homeless wanderer, a condition I could relate to on a personal level having been, in my younger years, just that. It is essential for me to find an aspect of recognition in all my subjects be they animal vegetable or mineral; to create a felt story of life through the medium of visual art. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Laughing Lion mixed media: the glitter, acrylic 14 x 17 I enjoy lions and made one laughing. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Unconditional photography 16 x 21 They have nothing, yet they share everything. Increasingly, couples and families are unable to meet the increasing cost of housing. Inflation, stagnating wages and catastrophic illness are just a few of the reasons more and more Americans are becoming displaced. (PIT 2024) Yet, for this couple, their unwavering love binds them together as they sleep peacefully on a bed of concreate with only a small throw. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Freya Stark, Explorer and Writer acrylic on pad 21 x 16 I am currently creating a Strong Women series of expressionistic portraits of women, historical and contemporary, in some instances loosely based on photographs of those no longer living. I work in a style that I feel is immediate rather than studied, one that will capture the essence of the subject. Some exhibited works have included Toni Morrisson, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Colette, Joan Didion, and Kamala Harris among others. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Tech Bro Circus oil and cold wax medium on board 24 x 12 This piece was my response to the rise of the tech titans in our worlds and the power they wield. On one level the painting is my expression of resistance and disdain for the negative aspects that tech has visited on our society. As a former clinical officer of several medical tech startups where i was entrenched in the "Tech Bro" culture daily I painted this work as my personal response to my exposure to that culture and how it effected me. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
