This painting explores a network of entangled vegetation in an imaginary tropical landscape. I try to capture light, entwined linear elements and brilliant color of these wild plant forms bursting with life. It’s a symphony of movement, color and rhythmic mark-making that culminates in that ethereal light circulating in the center, pulsing with a spiritual energy. It becomes a metaphor for my inner landscape with its tangled network of nerves seeking balance and calm.
