This painting is part of my series Dedicated to Women. In this series, I explore different emotional states of women as a
natural phenomenon. This work reflects inner exhaustion, burnout, and emotional numbness that often result from the
excessive use of one’s inner and physical resources. The Ukrainian inscription on the painting, translates as “I’d better
sleep” It represents a small, yet perhaps false, hope of climbing out of that emotional pit.
