My passion for abstract and semi-abstract painting and mixed media stems from decades of looking at modern and contemporary art in museums and galleries throughout the U.S. and Europe. Mixed media and abstract painting allow an artist the freedom to interpret their reality and meet the challenges of expressing their reactions to that reality through the use of colors, shapes, textures, and composition.
