Mabel Dodge Luhan was an American patron of the arts who was associated with the Taos art colony. After her marriage to Native Tony Luhan in 1923 she purchased Kiowa Ranch near the Lobo Mts. The couple hosted influential artists and poets in New Mexico, where she experienced a spiritual awakening.
