The battle for equality is as old as time. We continue to experience the systematic dismantling of our hard-fought-for freedoms, even in this land we call ‘The Home of the Free’. Throughout time and history, women have led, educated, fought, conquered, ruled, and birthed nations. Be inspired to dig your heels in. This is a sliver of time, while not meaningless, a blight. It is a teaching moment. Like ephemeral work for us to paint over with the names of inspiring female leaders who will take us into our future. We learn from the past. We will remove the masks, learn the names, and change the laws. Freedoms will be granted. Leaders, crafted with care, will rise. A time for women to lead is here. This is not a question, but a demand. The world is long overdue for a nurturing hand of leadership and a woman’s touch.
