May 10, 2022 was a very special day for all the members who were fortunate enough to attend this annual luncheon. Due to various Covid restrictions, we have not been able to meet and greet one another in this historic and beautiful venue since the spring of 2019. To once again see one another, face to face, proved it was truly more rewarding than the essential emails or Zoom get-togethers we have shared.
Our special guest of the day was Joyce Kozloff, a phenomenal, politically engaged artist, and original member of the Pattern and Decoration movement, whose works are often based on cartography. We all benefitted from her slide show presentation and her generous descriptions of the work she has produced during a long and varied career.
