Overindulgence in loving yourself may bring Ego to a dangerous state that might hurt us. The Ego separates us from ourselves and becomes an unhealthy sense of superiority and importance. It brings arrogance and self-centered ambition. It becomes our enemy. So, what does one do? Live with the enemy? Tame it? Or maybe killing it is the answer?

Painting Still Life with a Chocolate Bar 16 x 20 x 1 in. My goal for some years now have been to work with only two or three colors and their variations in a painting in order to achieve the full sound of these colors. This is a relatively new task for me, it’s captivating to work on it. In Still Life with a Chocolate Bar the contrast main colors : black, silver, orange - red , the combination of empty shiny silvery and black vessels on an orange and brick - red background are supposed to evoke certain associations and mood.
