Enchanted Colors #1 Acrylic on Canvas Size of Piece: 20 x 20 "Enchanted Colors," and “Dialogue With Colors-Across The Sphere” emerged from my fascination with the interplay of vibrant hues and organic forms. The inspiration came from moments of reflection on nature's subtle beauty and the emotional resonance colors evoke. My creative process involves layering paint, allowing the colors to blend, interact, and reveal unexpected patterns and textures. I let intuition guide the flow of each brushstroke, embracing spontaneity while balancing structure and abstraction. In this work, I sought to capture a sense of movement and wonder—a visual echo of fleeting memories and emotions. The vibrant pinks, blues, and greens reflect an internal dialogue of joy, introspection, and curiosity. Through this piece, I aim to invite viewers into a world of dynamic Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.

Hava Mixed Media on Paper Size of Piece: 24 x 18 x .05 As women, we are not simple. We are complex, exquisite beings that hold more potential than ever recognized. For thousands of years, across regions, for the sake of safety, we hid our true nature to accommodate those with made-up power. Now, we are leaping out of our assigned frames and are claiming our own narrative. Equality is a basic human right, a fundamental pillar in establishing a peaceful and prosperous world. While progress happens, there is still a great deal left to do. Girls and women continue to face significant challenges all around the world. Historically, though, women are described as goddesses, spirits, mythical beings from fairytales and scriptures - we are holy and dangerous. We are everything man desires and everything he fears, his source of life and his terror at the thought of death, of loss. All these contradictions stir many questions and emotions, but we learn to find the balance in life. Outlook Santorini Acrylic on Canvas Size of Piece: 30 x 40 x 1.5 Painting is a meditative journey for me, a way to process loss and transform grief into something vibrant and full of hope. After my brother passed away, I felt an urgent need to create—not just for the sake of making art, but as a way to heal. Through bold colors and expressive brushstrokes, I seek to uplift both myself and those who experience my work, showing that even in darkness, beauty and joy can emerge. In paintings like Outlook Santorini, New Day, and Flower Fields, I abstract natural landscapes to capture their essence and emotion. Outlook Santorini reflects the island’s peaceful vistas, translating its tranquility into layers of color and movement. New Day speaks to renewal and optimism, its light-filled hues evoking the fresh start that comes with dawn. Flower Fields is a celebration of nature’s energy, bursting with expressive colors that mirror the vitality of a landscape in bloom. Beach No.5 Silkscreen on Paper Size of Piece: 15 x 22
My work investigates resemblance of particular surroundings in connection with site specific placement. What interests me is the interconnection with the landscape and the viewer themselves, impression of their own identity, and peculiar memories in the specific surrounding.
In this particular print series, I worked with the beach scapes of the unforgettable Cape Cod area, often working on location while preparing first drawings and color sketches. By combining layered imagery, working with a dramatic contrast and values, along with the innovative methods of digital print and halftone, I was able to investigate the ability to recall certain memories, good and bad that often stopped a viewer in their tracks, and let them escape to the unknown while at the ocean side.

Coral Cockatoos Charcoal and Acrylic on Panel Size: 6 x 6" Phantasmagoria is my original art technique, developed to create haunting, ethereal visuals, similar to daguerreotypes (an early form of photography where the image was made on a polished silver-coated copper plate). By combining the deep, matte tones of charcoal with the iridescent shimmer of interference acrylics, I craft images that blend nostalgic depth with modern luminescence. Charcoal creates rich contrasts and textures, while thin layers of interference acrylics add a color-shifting glow, evoking a ghostly movement. Named after 19th-century optical spectacles, Phantasmagoria produces dreamlike, timeless artworks that fuse sharp detail with otherworldly light. Joseph's Tunic Watercolor on paper Size: 20.75 x 24" For the past several years I’ve been dealing with my daughter’s untimely death. She taught middle school ancient history. That’s what led me to look at a schematic of the Biblical tabernacle in Jerusalem and make paintings based on it. Some of this work has focused on the scarlet, purple, and indigo veils that separate the three sections of the tabernacle. Recently, I’ve delved into the Old Testament to learn about the cloths used to make garments. I’ve made paintings of Jospeh’s tunic and Job’s sack cloth. I like the meditative quality of this new work and how it sustains me. After covering the surface of the paper or canvas with hundreds of circles or ellipses, I build layer upon layer of paint leaving some areas exposed. Making painting with these references lets me feel connected to my daughter and is helping me process my grief. Dance of the Lily Pads Color Pencil on Drafting Film Size of Piece: 23 x 30 Realism is the style that I have embraced for my work. Perhaps the truth is that it embraced me, flowing naturally from my hand, with inspiration coming from the world around me. Colored pencil is the medium I have chosen for most of my work. What started as a lifestyle choice (pencils are clean and easily transportable from primary residence to lake house) became an artistic choice. I’m a control freak - free and loose is NOT my style - so colored pencils are the perfect medium for me. Their layering and blending capabilities, the transparency of some colors, and vibrant pigments help me convey the interplay of color and light in my subject matter. At times, I use colors that are more brilliant or saturated than what I see in nature. It pleases me, and I hope it pleases the viewer. Raven Oil on Canvas Size of Piece: 20 x 16 x 1 While working on my first portrait series of Latino Youth with a Black Bird, I learned a lot about ravens and crows. Reading by the Seashore Acrylic/Canvas Size of Piece: 16 x 20
Girl by the Seashore was painted from imagination, another way I work. Sometimes, I paint from imagination directly, with maybe only a thought to where the work will go, but more often, and here, the composition is derived from a pencil drawing, originally from imagination I which made quite a few years ago and still love. I draw a lot. Here, I worked to get the light the way I wanted it.

Whispers Beneath the Surfacefiber fabric artSize: 36 x 24I’m a textile artist who is inspired by the world around me, especially by nature. I look at my surroundings with inquisitive eyes and mind, with curiosity, knowing there are hidden treasures to be found and turned into art. My artistic approach is mostly intuitive with a constant awareness of color combination and contrast. The use of strong colors is a direct influence of my Brazilian heritage. Using fabric as the medium to create my art pieces was a natural choice since I have been working with it from my teenage years. My creative process can be described in two phases. The first one is the combination of inspiration and visualization of an art piece. The second phase is transforming what I visualized into actual artwork. It requires selecting fabrics as close as possible to my vision, adjusting, and sometimes, starting all over again.

Angst and Toys Oil on Canvas Size of Piece: 24 x 20
The values and colors in painting Angst and Toys are used to create a certain mood, atmosphere. Intense variations of Blue are supposed to provoke mysterious and dramatic feeling. The light coming from a light house and an invisible source of light from the right create red reflections on mothers;s and child's faces, warm coats and gloves.. Fluidity of Universal Time Poured watercolors, acrylics, UV varnish on canvas Size: 18 x 24" In recent years, the universe has been an intriguing source of inspiration. I have created a series of three unique versions of the universe: “Window on my universe” , “Doorways to alternate universes” and now my third painting of this series, which I call: “Fluidity of universal time.” In this painting I once again look to retreat into my imagination and examine time and our universe through the lens of my “mind’s eye” . For this painting I examine not only what I imagine the celestial world looks like but also the concept of time. With a little help from Salvador Dali, I conclude that our interpretation of time is relative to our uniquely different fluid views.
