Midsummer Joy Size: 20 x 16" In this painting, I strive to capture the essence of Midsummer—an ancient celebration of light, life, and love. Midsummer is a time of transformation, where the earth is at its most abundant and the spirit is free. I seek to embody the enduring power of femininity, with movements that echo generations of joy, resilience, and deep connection to nature. This work is an ode to the strength of women, the beauty of shared celebration, and the joy of existing in harmony with the world. Tree of Life Size: 30 x 20 x 3" The deep mysterious source of life is expressed in the hardness of steel while the surfaces of enameled birds and leaves play with the light and shadow. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.  

Hover Craft Size: 10 x 10" Hover Craft, part of my "Boat Icon" Series, is a small colored pencil drawing on Bristol Board mounted on cradle board. A boat moves within a dry, barren space. Inner origami-like panels unfold revealing a spinal column with radiating branches. Clouds float throughout. To me the “boat” icon represents freedom, the soul, an individual’s journey of self-discovery, our relationship to nature, the human vessel, security, exploration, and transformation. Living on the Indian River in Florida with the Space Program forty-five miles away, an inverted boat also represents a rocket and all its associations. I use an aerial view of a row-boat because it has a bound human form allowing me to play with its inner and outer spaces and meanings. Through a Glass Window Size: 14 x 18" I am drawn to the energy of the city, not just from the people but from the buildings as well. Manhattan is comprised of many windows, this is but another one looking through the myriad layers the city is comprised of. Have a Seat Size: 12 x 12" Have a Seat is part of my FLORA series, an exploration and celebration of plants growing in the state of Rhode Island. These paintings were created using acrylic paint marker and ink wash on wood panel. I started this one in a greenhouse at one of my favorite places: Ragged Island Brewing Co. I spent a few hours on site composing, blocking in shapes, choosing base colors, and getting the perspective correct. I then took it into my studio, where the story in the painting revealed itself and I made decisions about what’s in / what’s out. I returned to the greenhouse to complete the piece a few days later. The Weight of Letting Go Size: 9 x 12.5" The Weight of Letting Go was born from a moment of deep introspection—a meditation on loss, transformation, and the quiet courage required to release what once defined us. I was inspired by the emotional complexity of letting go: the sorrow, the emptiness, and the freedom that can follow. The figure sits at the edge of a vast, silent landscape, her wings severed and placed behind. To me, the wings represent the identities, roles, and dreams we sometimes have to surrender—whether by choice or circumstance. The nudity is symbolic of vulnerability and the rawness of that experience. I chose watercolor for its fluidity and softness, which allowed me to express the delicate balance between heaviness and light, control and release. This piece is not just about loss—it's about the in-between. The space after something ends, but before something new begins. That liminal place where we sit, breathe, and eventually, rise. Interim Size: 9.25 x 10.5 x 7.5" I create expressive sculptures from natural materials, bringing them to life through organic forms that move through space. Interim is a stone composition featuring smooth marble resting atop a rough piece of alabaster, exploring the contrast between textures and the tension inherent in a moment of pause before action. Under the Umbrella Size: 13.5 x 15" In Under the Umbrella, a crowned man and woman stand beneath an American flag, completely oblivious to the chaos below. Stained hands claw at her, a neon pink vital sign flickers beneath them, but neither seem concerned. Handcuffed together, she extends a green heart—her life force—while he lazily swipes at it with one hand, too distracted to care. Her face is being sawed, a nod to self-reinvention and erasure, while her leg fuses into a television, the ultimate surrender to media control. She wears fishnets, playing the role expected of her, while he drifts around in his power polka dot boxers, blissfully clueless. His foot dangles over an erupting volcano, but he’s too indifferent to notice destruction. Despite the comic absurdity, they remain under the umbrella —wrapped in privilege and illusion, perfectly safe… until the ground disappears beneath them. Musee d'Orsay Size: 4 x 4" The vintage look of the d'Orsay Train Station converted to the Musee d'Orsay in Paris inspired the gold leaf vintage treatment of the image. The image is printed on translucent vellum and gilded with 24kt gold leaf. Varnish adds an additional finish to create transparency to the piece as well as protection from the environment. Only Time for a Glance Size: 30 x 30" I was left with a lasting impression after a trip to South Africa, Botswana & Zambia that led me to create art work reminiscent of that geography. Echoes of another time & place are part of my interior world & motivate me to use collage..texture & paint to capture those memories. Striped Lily Size: 17.5 x 13.5" My work includes many genres of printmaking. Recently I have rediscovered Dry Point. Although I tend use color mostly in my monoprints I enjoy working in black and white. I love experimenting with the tones can achieve. Cherry Tree Size: 20 x 16 "How many, many things They call to mind These cherry-blossoms!" -Basho Each year, their beauty takes me by surprise — a forgotten dream in hues too vivid for memory. From city parks to the suburban sprawl, cherry trees flare to life, stitching color into the gray, a brief, breathless festival of light, restoring wonder to a weary world. Until Then Size: 12 x 15 "Until Then" focuses on my perception of the unfathomable changes in landscapes that were manufactured by human activity that has had significant, global impact on the planet's ecosystems and climate. Reaching for Resilience Size: 29.6 x 19.6 We are constantly going through transitions, reacting to changing social and personal situations. Fluid washes refer to that movement. Layered transparency in my work suggests elements in our surroundings being in flux, coming in and out of focus as we pull for inspiration. This painting portrays a sensitive strength I witnessed in this model's expression, as well as ginkgo leaves swirling in the atmosphere since they are symbolic of resilience. Her Hands Were Watching Me (From the Into the Woods series) Size: 24 x 18 ‘Her Hands Were Watching Me’ belongs to the Into The Woods Series that depicts human connections during different phases of life. In this painting I aim to convey a sense of mystery along with emotion. I wanted to invite the viewer to examine and feel the conflict of connection, identity, and interaction. All the while knowing, actually hoping, that they will interpret the scene through their own perspectives. To me, this is the real connection to my artwork. Banding Together Size: 20 x 20 Bringing awareness to endangered and threatened species is very important to me. I’m continually striving to bring elements together that invoke a sense of thoughtfulness towards nature and how we affect it. The bird, the Piping Plover, is on both the threatened and endangered species list in many states, including New York.
