I love photographing people on the street. This passion developed during travels to Mexico and Cuba. In the past few years, I have been photographing people on the streets of New York City. What excites and energizes me is how spontaneous the process is and how unpredictable people are. Sometimes people are unaware I’ve taken their picture. Others will agree to pose for several photos. I look for interesting places with interesting forms, light and geometry to serve as a background for the people I choose to photograph. What attracts me could be an expression, an action, detail, or reflection. You may often find me on the streets of New York capturing the fast-paced dynamics of life there.
