The initial inspiration for this painting came from some of the beautiful images seen from the James Webb Space Telescope. My goal was to mix texture and colors to highlight the counterplay of the darkness of space and the amazing light and colors captured in those images. The texture creates a sense of motion with the focal point representing the revelation of a distant source of light.
