In my work, I explore the relationship between memory, emotion, and sense of place through contemporary landscape photography. I capture the scenes of my immediate surroundings and translate them into soft, ethereal, dreamlike vistas. My images often feature trees, distant hills, pink skies, children, tactile atmosphere and the moon. They convey an existence that extends beyond the physical realm and takes the viewer into my own dream world. My work has often been described as incandescent in both definitions of the word: glowing with luminosity and full of emotion and passion. My hope is that my body of work brings a sense of wonder, curiosity, and nostalgia to my audience, while inviting an opportunity to pause and perhaps see the magic and emotional subtlety in the familiar.
