Tree of Life in Winter represents a dormant stage in the diagrammatic Tree of Life, depicting areas in Scripture called Sephirot. In the snow on the branches are etched very small letters indicting the 10 Sephirot starting with “Malkuth,” the Kingdom.,through “Tipareth,” Beauty, to “Binah,” Understanding and “Chokmah,” Wisdom all the way up to “Kether,” the Crown; The Light shines through the branches lighting the way to the Spring thaw when the elements are again visibly activated and spiritual growth continues to enrich and balance life and the Universe.
