Each of my paintings represents the beauty of the ocean in an abstract and organic way. I am creating the ocean as it feels, looks, and what it means to our planet. This is conveyed through the movement of the water, the waves and currents like the rhythm of music flowing endlessly and translucently, and as a lens of above looking down at the richness of color and the islands being swallowed by the water as our oceans keep rising. While what is happening to our oceans is a dire situation, we can reflect on its beauty and what we can do to stop more irreversible damage to continue to enjoy the vast, wild, and serene place.
