  • Unstoppable
    oil on canvas
    Size of Piece: 40 x 30 x 1.5

"Unstoppable,” is an oil painting that boldly challenges forces that undermine democratic values and silence marginalized communities fighting for equality. Across Ahern’s over 50-year career in business and the arts, she has fought against the systematic subjugation of women’s voices and independence, refusing to accept the institutional barriers designed to limit women’s power and self-determination.

Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Gathering Support
    oil and acrylic on canvas
    Size of Piece: 30 x 20
This painting was inspired by Mark Rothko's layered color washes flooding the atmosphere, plus my added subject matter. This piece, Gathering Support, is part of my Deconstructing Hope series. It is about that feeling of simultaneous joy and relief as inner strength grows. I paint this series to support and inspire viewers in their daily struggle toward their goals. In challenging times it is important to take a moment for a deep cleansing breath and replenishing thoughts.
Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Tree of Life
    mixed media
    Size of Piece: 48 x 47 x 2
Inspired by the majestic oaks of Brookgreen Gardens’ Live Oak Allée, Tree of Life is a kimono collage that symbolizes endurance, heritage, and interconnectedness. Indigo hues reference the region’s indigo-growing history, while the kimono form, Japanese paper leaves, and repurposed fabric blooms honor both cultural tradition and environmental mindfulness. The tree, crafted from reclaimed denim, draws from the Japanese Boro technique of mending and reuse. Through this fusion of South Carolinian and Japanese elements, the piece reflects Brookgreen Gardens as a living bridge between past and present, nature and culture—a place where beauty and legacy deeply intertwine.
Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Homage to the Sunsets of the Multiverse
mixed media (acrylic with metallic pigments)
    Size of Piece: 36 x 36
My work is Narrative. It is my communicative instrument that translates the intangible into a visual with shapes, color and forms...using symbolism to convey my message. This image was inspired by watching dragonflies seemingly congregate, at the end of each day, to watch the sunset. Dragonflies are a common spirit animal that represent wisdom and resilience to adapt well to change. So many talk about faith...and yet are still blind to scientific theories (one being the existence of a multiverse!?!). Meanwhile, these dragonflies see what we still cannot. This sci-fi is merging into our known reality & has these creatures worshipping the sunsets of the multiverse.
Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • The Quiet Season
    oil on cradled panel
    Size of Piece: 24 x 24 x 2
A view of modest rental cottages on the North Truro coast of Cape Cod, shuttered in Autumn. In the off-season, visitors are more able to explore the glorious shorelines of the Cape. Sadly, only 12% of the 1,400 miles of Massachusetts coastline is accessible to the public, or 170 miles. This is due to an ordinance from 1647 which extends the private property boundary to the low tide line. The natural beauty and serenity of our coasts should be much more accessible to all.
Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Caught in the Middle of Chaos
    acrylic
    Size of Piece: 18 x 24 x 1
Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Resilience Woven Year by Year
    acrylic
Size of Piece: 36 x 36 This mixed-media work layers acrylic, ink, and graphite to create a soft, organic foundation that gradually builds in depth and texture. Image transfers of traditional Palestinian tatreez embroidery are incorporated into the surface, ghost-like imprints that echo ancestral memories. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Hope Springs Eternal
    alcohol inks on canvas
Size of Piece: 12 x 16 x 1 My alcohol inks on Yupo paper paintings deal with the luminosity of light. They are inspired by a need and my choice to embrace brightness and positivity in the darkness that seems to hover over the entire world like an enormous dark cloud. I use organic shapes that are derived from nature with the intention to lift the spirits of the viewer. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Mandala for a New World
    colored pencil on paper
Size of Piece: 13 x 13 Inspired by Mandalas. First encountered in China in 1995 while a delegate at the 4th World Conference for Women. My fascination with them brought introspection and a need to create a new world mandala to explore our current political situation. The process is meditative, allowing me to play creatively with humor and pathos. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • My Side
    oil on canvas
    Size of Piece: 20 x 16 x 1
Light and shadow are fascinating; the colors they contain, the complexity of their value shifts. I strive to have the viewer stop and take the beauty of what often goes unnoticed. Depicting beauty in the everyday, even messy scenes is one of my goals as a painter. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • State of Being
    acrylic on panel
Size of Piece: 20 x 20 My focus while creating 'State of Being' was on the processes of layering paint and orienting shapes so that they landed balanced and in right relationship. I used an abundance of glaze, and my main tools were a credit card and palette knife, and bowl scraper. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • I Danced in the Morning
    acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas
Size of Piece: 49 x 49 x 2 My new series is focusing on movement and how I sometimes feel as if I am dancing across the canvas as I paint. I have never been a good dancer, but I enjoy movement and appreciate the difficulty of the art form. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Abalone Heart
abstract mixed media painting on canvas
Size of Piece: 30 x 30 x 2.25 The ocean delivers gifts of beauty in special ways. This piece is intended to invoke thoughts of unexpected tenderness despite the tumbling, rustling, and tossing in the currents. After being carefully sheltered within a jagged, stone-like exterior, the gentle abalone interior holds a surprising hue. The tender pearlescence displays a myriad of colorful hues, providing proof that beauty can be carefully created and then surrendered from within the center of even the harshest of elements. Abalone Heart reminds us that we are resilient. We will render the product of our worth despite the storms we experience. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Beach
    oil on stitched canvas
Size of Piece: 44 x 33 x 6 The painted constructions emerge as transmutations of my most resounding responses to overcoming the obstacles around and within me. They are not mere representations but transformative expressions borne from profound encounters with people, self-reflection, and the natural world. These works memorialize instances of revelation in the space between observation and understanding—ephemeral moments with a shift in what is valued that would otherwise slip away unrecorded. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Zoo Series - Farm
    hand-made small edition serigraph
Size of Piece: 14 x 14 After graduating from Art school I found I wanted to create work that had meaning to me not just what was the current trend in Art, or what someone else thought Art should be. So I began by creating a series of circle of life drawings that communicated the interconnectedness of life. Using one of these drawings, I created a serigraph, or more commonly known as silkscreen print. I adjust the drawing in photoshop to create a bitmap transparency. The transparency is placed under an emulsion coated screen that is developed so the image makes up the open parts on the screen. Ink is pushed through onto paper. Multiple screens or direct application is used for additional colors. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Making a Way
    acrylic on canvas board
    Size of Piece: 20 x 16
In this piece, one authentic heart meets a frozen world. "Making a way" speaks to the power of feminine presence. I created this work as an offering and a reminder that aligned creative action can dissolve even the deepest separation. It is about authenticity and integrity that open new dimensions and melt troubles away. It does not matter how tiny we feel; we will persevere as long as our hearts are strong. This girl is little, the world is vast and icy, and many beings are watching her quest. This piece is painted on a canvas board with acrylic paint and markers to create the intense line connecting shapes. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • After a Rain
    oil
    Size of Piece: 35 x 24
Sorry, I am traveling and can not get the photo named properly. This is a scene viewed through my window. Beautiful colors and quiet mood after a long rain. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • William, La Jolla
    Acrylic
Size of Piece: 20 x 16 x 1.25 The joy on my son's face as he posed in his "habitat" along the Pacific Coast near where he works in La Jolla, CA, inspired me to do a rare return to figurative work. I surprised him with this painting as a loving house-warming gift last Fall after he moved into his new apartment in Little Italy. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Andy's Flowers
    acrylic & collage
    Size of Piece: 16 x 24 x .75
Andy Warhol was a leading figure in the Pop Art movement. While identified with NYC, he was born and raised in western PA where he graduated from Carnegie Tech. He left town for NYC and rarely returned. When he graduated, Pittsburgh was full of industrial fog, dust and pollution from steel mills. The American Lung Association released a 2025 air quality report indicating the air quality in the region has not improved since Andy's days. The steel mills still produce pollution and we have added fracking and carbon capture to the mix. Inspired by Andy's flowers I painted similar ones & added an abstract cow as farms are threatened by current contaminations. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Roses in the Studio
    egg-tempera on prepared board
Size of Piece: 12 x 12 x 0.25 Roses in the Studio is a visual tribute to prosperity and creative freshness. This small, but fragrant bouquet juxtaposed against the backdrop of my non-objective painting "Summer Vibes” symbolizes the unity of realistic and abstract expression. The ancient and laborious choice of media, the egg-tempera, is my new fascination both in technical challenges and stylistic nuances. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Watching Spring
    acrylic and oil on canvas
Size of Piece: 48 x 48 x 1.5 My recent paintings contain root-like veins, dendritic patterns - sacred design, a blueprint common to all things that grow and reach, found in the body as arching blood vessels, in leaves, trees, and forests. This shape is a rhythm; we recognize it from our memory. Rooted in nature's universal language, my paintings pulse with vibrant energy through dynamic brushwork and layered textures, capturing the fluidity of water, foliage, and fleeting landscape elements. Through expressive spontaneity and thoughtful composition, my work celebrates life's wild rhythm, transforming symbolic forms into metaphors of our shared human experience. I permit to use of my artwork on SM. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Conflagration
    mixed media, watercolor, acrylic
Size of Piece: 9 x 12 "Conflagration" captures a moment of overwhelming force and profound transformation. Through a turbulent interplay of dark and fiery hues, the painting evokes the raw, chaotic energy of immense destruction, reminiscent of pivotal historical events that forever alter our world. It speaks to the flashpoints where power unleashes devastation, leaving indelible marks on landscapes and collective memory. This work is a visceral reminder of what must "Never Be Forgotten," urging reflection on the consequences of such intensity and the enduring echoes of a past that continues to shape our present. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Two Worlds
    oil on masonite
Size of Piece: 24 x 36 x 4 Two Worlds required the application of more than two dozen layers of oil paint that I thinned to transparency. Some of the layers were poured, some partially rubbed off, some dripped on the surface with an eye-dropper, and some scratched off with stiff rags. The painting reflects on climate change, and the power of rising seas. The blue-green zone implies ocean water without representing it in an illustrative manner. It suggests an ocean that is alive, but unsafe for humans who might get lost in the tangles. The uneven orange border between the ocean depths and the golden land is a vision of an ever-changing shoreline caused by warming oceans rising over the land. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Bang a Gong
    acrylics on canvas
Size of Piece: 30 x 24 x 1.5 My paintings evolve through layers of impastoed texture. It is always a process of intuitive line and color until a strong cohesive composition evolves as i step back, watching and waiting excitedly as my brush directs me. I love the mystery of the evolution! Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Sunny Morn
    marbelized paper
Size of Piece: 18 x 12 I stated taking a variety of art classes this year and marbleizing paper was one of these classes. I really enjoyed working with this medium as It is freeing and unique, The final artwork can be quite interesting. It's similar to creating silk scarves. You never know how the final piece will turn out, It can be rewarding and challenging at the same time. I have learned to work with a variety of colors and shapes, and therefore have a better idea of the final artwork. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Standing Firm1
    watercolor
Size of Piece: 12 x 9 This watercolor was a sketch that was part of a series of studies and paintings of a sculpture that "spoke to me" at Brookgreen Gardens. in Murrells Inlet, SC. I had visited the NAWA SC Chapter in 2023, and took some photos of some of the sculptures in the gardens. When the chapter secured an exhibition at the Gardens' Rosen Galleries, I decided to explore the bronze sculpture, Circle of Life- part of the 4 Seasons series by Harold "Tuck" Langland, created in 2001. This sculpture shows a yoga pose; my daughter teaches yoga, I have done yoga for decades, and she is now in the south where Spanish moss proliferates. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Morning in Town
    oil on canvas
Size of Piece: 58 x 40 “Morning in Town” is one of my newest paintings, inspired by my travels through Oriental countries. It’s composed of three joined panels, resembling a door, complete with carved woodwork on the reverse side. I wish I could share more images or a video of how it opens, but I’ve included an Instagram link where you can see it in motion. https://www.instagram.com/p/DGJYGYrRn0r Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • After He Left
    acrylic on canvas
Size of Piece: 36 x 48 In 2024 I became inspired to paint large. I set up my 1930's old wooden garage to be a summer studio, where I could make as much of a mess as necessary and not be too precious about my strokes. The results are bold expressions of my body movement and my psyche. I respond emotionally to each stroke, shape and color and that connection leads me to the next step. This painting has been painted over many times. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Memory and Repair
sculpture relief - porcelain, stoneware, metal
    Size of Piece: 27 x 50 x 2
As a sculptor I am interested in the figure. As an Occupational Therapist I am interested in the repair of the body. This piece shows bodies in repair and the memories of past life. Everyone has memories that they would like to forget or alter in some way to make them more acceptable. I started with the folded porcelain forms, and then created the bodies. Some of the bodies broke in the clay or in the kiln. I decided to keep them instead of throwing them out and started repairing them as I had done in real life as an OT. Composing the elements in a group started to look like a message for life. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Assessing II
    oil on panel
Size of Piece: 24 x 20 In portraying individuals at different ages and life stages I also engage themes of temporal change, individual vulnerability and human mortality. This child’s gaze was arresting; at once exploring, engaging and assessing. This drawing is another in a series of portraits that marvel at the magic of the moment and honor the purest of encounters with the with the special little humans in my life. The difficult and satisfying challenge in my portraiture is to portray some unarmed truth and in so doing to suggest our complex humanity and shared experience. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Whale Bones, #53
    watercolor
Size of Piece: 26 x 26 I have been working on a series of whale bones ever since I visited an abandoned whaling station in Antarctica in 1998. Recently, I had the opportunity to spend a week as an artist resident and work with the Nantucket Whaling Museum. This was one of the new pieces I completed during this time. Whale bones are large and overwhelming and show the majesty of the animal that once lived in them. I hope to honor those whales that are gone with this series. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Inside
    charcoal on drawing paper
Size of Piece: 24 x 19 Drawing is at the base of all my artwork. Charcoal is a medium I rarely use but find it is malleable and allows great variety with changing pressure and angle. I made it out of my head in a moment of need to see what the charcoal would say with me. Our rhythms jibed. I found texture and harmony while making this drawing. I named it "Inside" because it feels like an internal, private moment. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Belles of the Ball
    acrylic
Size of Piece: 36 x 36 Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Stonefaced
    oil on board
Size of Piece: 16 x 12 x .5 This painting describes the extraordinary, reflective phase of my life and work. What began as a watercolor study of a limestone cliff developed into a painting that reveals an awareness of, and gratitude for, those who came before me. They were immersed in Welsh culture, so influenced by dark landscapes and skies. I have always seen faces in clouds and rocks but this time they spoke as my artistic ancestors, stubborn, wise, musical, poetic. But that was my past. My present is American, and my future is unknown, but this is an homage to endurance. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Spread the Love
    acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas
Size of Piece: 18 x 18 x 1.5 There is never enough love going around. I wanted to emphasize the need to spread the love in this world. This is a series of 3 paintings that can be hung vertically or horizontally, or each as a standalone. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Empowered Elderhood
    mixed media fiber
Size of Piece: 34 x 32 This self-portrait honors the threshold between visibility and inner knowing. Wearing a towering crone headdress made from a vintage quilt and stitched wallpaper, I embody the elder archetype, rooted in lineage, softened by time, and adorned with wisdom. Two birds represent dual aspects of the self: one that carries memory, and one that flies forward. Flowers bloom, stitched in quiet rebellion against erasure. Each textile layer is a fragment of inherited story; worn, patched, cherished, and transformed into sacred regalia through collage and thread. Each element, stitch, scrap, and thread, honors the beauty and burden of experience. It's a claiming of space. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Raspberry Sky
    oil on linen
Size of Piece: 24 x 24 x 1.5 Seeing the sky this color out my window. Unusual sunset color. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Spirit Guide
acrylic, texture paste, image transfer, & paper collage
Size of Piece: 16 x 16 My narrative mixed media pieces are an intuitive blend of acrylic paint, handmade paper and fabric that give life to my contemporary concepts. Each painting starts with an idea that takes many compositional and decorative turns before I call it complete. The result is an intricate tapestry of visual elements that invites my viewers to explore the many layers of textural detail. In my work, I explore memories and dreams as a way to highlight ideas about the interdependence of humanity and nature. It also reflects life’s changes and our resilience in navigating the ups and downs. I believe we create balance and harmony by being sensitive to our environment and each other. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • My Supernova Brain II
monoprint, collage, acrylic, latex, UV pigments on canvas
    Size of Piece: 20 x 16 x 1
I had recently completed an edition of 20 works on paper that combined collagraph, monoprinting, linocut, and collage. The monoprints I created for this became the inspiration for new monoprints that I am collaging onto canvas for a new series of works. Combining newer techniques with more familiar ones have created "Supernova" explosions of creative concepts in my brain, which then expand into my studio with surprising and spontaneous results. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Koi Pond study
    oil on board
Size of Piece: 14 x 11 I’m always inspired by natural settings and the pond was so lovely with its lilies that the search for the koi was besides the point. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Free Floating
    digital photo
Size of Piece: 22 x 18 x 1 I often look for reflections in store windows. Usually I shoot directly into the window and see what is reflected behind me. However, in this case, I went inside the store and shot directly at an interesting display. The central image reminded me of a giant acorn lit from within, but the bottom of the skirts reminded me of a hot air balloon ride recently taken. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Petroglyph Figures
    acrylic
Size of Piece: 21 x 27 x 1 Ancient peoples and their activities fascinate me. Using natural elements to record important events in their lives, they carved their stories onto beautiful rock faces, the canvases of the ancients. These hillside Hawaiian petroglyph figures inspired me to paint the rock formations and the dynamic figures, capturing the greys of the stones and the darkness of the stained figures. I try and guess what the stories are telling us. Were they actual events, dreams of things past, or dreams of things to come? Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Harbinger
    photograph
Size of Piece: 8 x 8 x 1 In Tales of a Consulting Detective, Sherlock Holmes said: “You see, but you do not observe. The distinction is clear.” I take my camera out. I may choose a subject; I may think “that would make a great picture”; I may visit a new place or one I’ve seen before. I want to observe and to present things in a way that causes the viewer to stop and observe. What do you think this bird represents? We have the technology to immediately capture whatever is in front of us. The challenge is for people to slow down; to question whether there is only one way to look at something; and to search for new meaning in something they may have seen before. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Color Explosion
    powder coated aluminum
    Size of Piece: 9 x 10 x 10
Monet's Flowers, Frank Gherry's Architecture and a passion for the outdoors motivates me to create flowers in an array of sizes and stiles, set on abstract sinuous virtual waves that transport the observer to dream, relax and imagine being uplifted to a place of serenity and joy. I started creating aluminum flowers which when applying a blow torch transformed the aluminum into golden patinas and perforations, and melted petals in an organic way. Incurring into color I powder coat them and explore different color combinations. Trial and error keeps my curiosity and creativity alive. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Shari
    glazed stoneware
Size of Piece: 10 x 4 x 4 I worked with Shari often and liked her. She was a wonderful model. My work often takes off from the inspiration of the model, and it expands from there, but in this instance, I just wanted to be true to her. I hope I have captured her spirit. I heard she had died last year. This piece as a tribute and remembrance.. For the carpet, I used a brushstroke that looks very much like the couching stitch from Medieval times and I think that gave it a nice carpet like quality..I painted her skin tones and makeup with underglazes to be true to her. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Guardian XXVIII
    mixed media on paper
    Size of Piece: 18 x 6 x 6
I am a Columbia, SC based artist, my work is created with strips of recycled paper collected from magazines, flyers and papers found in my daily life. I am intrigued with the colors and textures in everyday printed matter. Coiling is a very tedious and time-consuming process, it takes countless hours to roll enough strips of magazine pages into coils to create anything of substance. Once the coils are made I proceed to manipulating them into the desired shape, dome, cone or tentacle. It is an intuitive and ongoing visual experiment. The time spent creating the pieces is infinitesimal, but the love of what I do removes the burden of it and turns it into drive. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Join the Fight
    charcoal, acrylic, collage on paper
Size of Piece: 24 x 24 x 1.5 Working on a series based on and incorporating letters my father wrote my mother during WW2 while stationed in the Pacific, I created this portrait of my paternal grandmother. In one of his letters, my father said he told his platoon that he had all the pin-up girls he needed; they were pictures of my mother - his girlfriend at the time, his mother, and his neice who was about 4 years old. I created portraits of all three for the series; each with imagery in the background and a slogan reminiscent of pin-up girl posters circa 1944-45 when he served. The two stars represent two of her four sons who served during the War. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Brainbow
    monotype
    Size of Piece: 22 x 29.5
Yummy colors drove the making of this print and hexagons helped shape its direction. I have usually used the inside patterns in hexagons cut from the inside of security envelopes and used them as collage elements in works like this ,but this particular piece insisted the color flow was enough. I’m happy I listened to that voice! Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • One Fine Day
    acrylic on canvas
Size of Piece: 50 x 30 x 1.75 A post from Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, circa 2020, about Rosa Parks. "She sat down so that we could stand up." I was reflecting on the current political situation in my nation and wrote a short verse to accompany the painting. I wrote as I painted, mulling over the words in this haiku: The ghost of Rosa Implores us to stand and fight For justice and right. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
  • Gathering
    acrylics
Size of Piece: 24 x 36 x 1.5 Birds go about life in what appears to be total freedom: - freedom of responsibilities - freedom of demands by others, of flying anywhere anytime any place. . And yet, certain species stay gathered together as a unit providing safety: safety in numbers, safety in gathering food, and safety location. This duality is what intrigues me to paint them, for I am a 2-legged bird. in disguise. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
