acrylic on canvas
40 x 30 x 3"
August 12 – September 30, 2024
Each year, NAWA honors the women who have generously contributed their time to advance this mission. NAWA celebrates these exceptional volunteers, known as Art Angels, with an annual exhibition showcasing their work. The organization relies on the kindness, generosity, goodwill, and expertise of its volunteers, who have been the backbone of NAWA’s growth and expansion since its founding in 1889.
NAWA thanks the sponsor of this exhibition:

Fiber 8 x 8 x 1.5 in. Symbols and their relationships to each other form the syntax of my Logic Grid. Drawing on ideas of the intersection between written language and spirituality, this piece includes passages that are meticulous hand stitched, embellished with gold leaf, and monoprinted. Then it is deconstructed and reassembled, being refined with each reconstruction into a unique language to be sensed more than read. Additional shipping/delivery charges will be handled between the artist and buyer after the purchase.
