UPCOMING
NAWA is the proud sponsor of The Margo Harris Hammerschlag Direct Carving competition. This is an open call for the biannual award of $5,000 for women artists 18+, U.S citizens or permanent residents of the country. The three jurors are: Natalie Frier, Carol Schwartz and Madeline Wiener.
All work must be original with a minimum of 75% produced by direct carving. The winner will be announced in February 2022.
The 2019 winner was Susan Clinard.
