My energy is focused on exploring the impact of climate change on our earth and sea. As an avid scuba diver, my fascination with coral reefs has flourished. Mixed media has become the language I use to capture both the beauty and debris of our underwater seas, glaciers and earth. Using a mix of paper, plastic, oil, acrylic, pastel, and ink, I capture the impacts of a drying world, from rising seas to bleaching coral reefs. My goal is to have my work move beyond awareness and beauty to connection and empowerment.
