Throughout my career, I have painted portraits of individuals experiencing homelessness. While living in Los Angeles, I volunteered with the Homeless Outreach Program in Skid Row, an experience that deeply shaped my perspective. Through this piece, I aim to raise awareness about the ongoing homelessness crisis across the country and encourage viewers to engage with the humanity behind the issue.
