Searching for new inspiration, I spent a 30 day artist residency in 2024 at La Porte Peinte in Noyers sur Serein, in Burgundy. Described as one of the 100 most beautiful villages in France, it’s slower pace and supportive creative environment was a portal that opened me to new possibilities, new energy, and more joy in the creative process that remains with me to this day.
