I had never seen a flamingo in real life, so I made it my mission during the Christmas holiday to find at least one—and I succeeded. I dreamed of capturing their graceful shape, poised stance, and, above all, their stunning color, yearning to be immersed in the beauty of their feathers. This past winter, that dream came true.
