NAWA offers three types of exhibits: National, Local/Regional or Chapter. Exhibitions give Signature Members opportunities to show and sell work, help NAWA build its members’ participation and grow the support and volunteer bases. This benefit is available for all NAWA Signature Members, anywhere in the United States. Initiating exhibitions allows members the opportunity to reach out to venues they know, search, or are more connected to regionally. Gathering a team of NAWA sisters is good experience, a chance to know each other and work together as a team.

NAWA National Signature Member exhibits
- NAWA Signature members are welcome to propose exhibits in any venue that becomes a national NAWA Exhibit.
- Find a venue, present the idea to the NAWA Exhibition Committee
- Obtain details using the NAWA venue questionnaire
- Report back to the Exhibition Committee
- Act as Person of Contact (POC) for the exhibit, overseeing the remaining parts of the process, including:
- Contract, prospectus, call for entry, jurying and notifications- (along with the Committee).
- It is very helpful for the person initiating the exhibit to be the POC.
- Promotion is done through the PR committee and member sharing
Local or Regional NAWA Signature Member exhibits
- Especially if an artist lives in a state or area where there is no NAWA Chapter, they may want to initiate a local or regional exhibit.
- If a member initiates an exhibit, it is best if that person is willing to coordinate the exhibit and act as a liaison to the Exhibition Committee.
- All exhibition proposals must go through the NAWA headquarters Exhibition Committee, and follow protocols. This entails:
- Proposal, venue questionnaire, contract, prospectus, call for entry, jurying, notifications (along with the Committee).
- Promotion is done through the PR committee and member sharing
NAWA Chapter Signature Member exhibits
- Chapters initiate and run their own exhibitions with their exhibition committees.
- Signature Members may belong to any chapter regardless of where they live.
- Chapters are located in Florida, Massachusetts, and South Carolina
- Promotion is done through the Chapters
