As a mostly abstract painter, sometimes images emerge from the paint. Often they are only fleeting and soon painted out but Sometimes they seem to make their presence known and become a part of the composition. As the Crescent Moon emerged, I was glad to acknowledge it and welcome its presence in this painting.
