I am a gatherer. Fallen wood waits for me. Sticks, twigs, branches, and bark fill my arms and backpack while hiking. In the studio, I carve, burn, and apply color using colored pencils. Each piece reveals itself as I work. Beetle tracks on the carved blue sticks read as ancient secret text.
