Nightmare

Because a previous image was a daydream, I set about to make a nightmare. This is what came out–one night in a dark and icy cave a morbid moon whispers with the voices of many people. I can’t make out any one statement but none of it sounds good. I’m hiding. They surround me and the warm mare I rode in on. Or is it a unicorn.? God, am I going to relive the nightmare of being a virgin.
