I love photographing people on the street. “Mexican Dancer”, one of my earliest works was taken in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and it was during a show that took place on the beach.
The beautiful colors of the dancer’s dress, as well as the elegant motion, inspired me to take this portrait. I waited for the moment she paused after the dance was over. This piece did take a bit of post processing, to darken the background, which was very busy.
