Inspiration
Years of experience in architecture and interior design inspire me to photograph buildings. I am particularly passionate about weathered structures, with colorful ones adding extra charm.
Creative Process
Sporting my Nikon and wandering the streets searching for potential subjects with sharp lines, high contrast, and aiming for compositions of colorful, saturated blocks of adjacent solid planes. ‘Lights of Ville Marie’ was captured as I was walking the cobblestone streets of my forbearers in Old Montreal, lagging behind with friends blocks away, I captured not only the centuries of buildings but the contrasting lights integral to them. Fast to walk and slow to shoot created ‘Light of Ville Marie’.
