My work focuses on exploring the concept of one’s soul journey and the mythic idea of one’s daimon, or spiritual companion, as described by Plato. Guided by my daemon, I undertook a month-long residency in Ireland. While exploring the countryside, I stumbled upon “The Greenville Rookery” and was captivated by the sight of hundreds of rooks building nests. Their energy and spirit became intertwined with my artmaking, leaving a lasting impression on my subconscious.
