Convergence is the culmination of many hours of blending directly on the canvas. My process begins by selecting a color scheme and limiting myself to using only those colors plus neutrals. I work intuitively, applying paint then stepping back to analyze until I see no further changes to be made. The complementary colors in Convergence seemed to flow in a pattern which reminded me of rivers merging together in a confluence.
