After the pandemic I was feeling protective of myself and my friends and family. I had been doing nudes for a long time, but it didn’t feel appropriate anymore. I made a series of these sentinels. They are combined thrown and modeled forms. i see them as entities that will look over us and out for us. Making them made me feel better.
