These paintings are part of a series I am now working on called Organic Abstractions. Originally, they were produced as very small (6″x6″), intricate, very detailed collage and mixed media pieces. I decided use them as blueprints to rework them into much larger paintings. As always color takes center stage. It is the driving force behind all of my work..
