As my body ages and time takes its toll, I am still that being that is strong in spirit and has hidden crevices and potential for growth. As a female, I have a strength that is within my being. Time has not taken that away from me. My floral entity is a metaphor for what it means to me to be female- the hidden beauty, the unfolding forms that are under my surface. I am more than what you see – I am a being that is strong and resilient in spirit. This strength is how I navigate living-the challenges of time. Within is painting that reflects this strength.
