Recycled is an abstract expression—a personal, yet universal language—which combines concept with experience. It is many things at once. Technically: It is a mixed-media painting, a “combine” of painting with sculpture together with a collage of found, repurposed and recycled objects. Conceptually: It’s a puzzle, a design, a color way, a magical mystery to explore and decode thoughts and ideas about “recycling”. Physically: It is constructed from acrylic paint, watercolor crayon, archived with newly-created palette skins and found objects. All of these elements take direction from the Muses of the Imagination.
