A photographer of city-light, I capture the presence, story, and beauty that is hidden in light. For me light inhabits a form which is revealed in its motion: graceful streaks of color, darkness, and radiance. My signature technique, single in-camera exposure with intentional camera, draws out the power of light to create shape, define space, capturing a cityscape pulsing with life. Movement that is transmuted into painterly photographs where light serves simultaneously as medium, social connection, and visual experience. The story of the light in this image is in its form and its title: Expectant Silence, a period of stillness, a pause, listening for something to happen.
