The effects of global warming, and pollution on our world inspired me to create this piece. I grew up in a world that was free of impure and contaminated water for a short period of time. As I became a teenager, I started seeing drastic changes to our environment happening. For example, oil slicked oceans, dead sea life on the shoreline and floating on the water, and medical trash and waste. My piece represents a lifetime of grotesque changes to the environment that I have witnessed. Mankind and corporate greed have destroyed the beautiful world I once knew.
