“New Beginnings,” was completed using Prismacolor, Polychromos and Holbein colored pencils on Strathmore 500 series cold pressed illustration board, using my own photo references, imagination and actual live Luna moths that my son and I raised and studied. This piece used 600 hours of layering pencils with no solvents; all hand drawn.
