My work focusses on themes of displacement, migration, and ocean voyages. Part of a series of work entitled ‘Crossings’, this wall-hung piece addresses the notion of a fraught crossing from one place to another. Physical gaps in these works, that appear to be filled with light or with stormy darkness, are spanned by delicate threads and illusions.
