Using leather in my artwork felt like a calling. I’m not sure where it came from, but I knew I was supposed to explore using leather in my work and see where it took me. I have fully leaned into it. I love working with the organic edges and unique shapes of the leather. I enjoy the challenge of arranging the pieces into a composition to tell a story or evoke a feeling or vibe.
