Phantasmagoria is my original art technique, developed to create haunting, ethereal visuals, similar to daguerreotypes (an early form of photography where the image was made on a polished silver-coated copper plate). By combining the deep, matte tones of charcoal with the iridescent shimmer of interference acrylics, I craft images that blend nostalgic depth with modern luminescence. Charcoal creates rich contrasts and textures, while thin layers of interference acrylics add a color-shifting glow, evoking a ghostly movement. Named after 19th-century optical spectacles, Phantasmagoria produces dreamlike, timeless artworks that fuse sharp detail with otherworldly light.
