This painting was one of my first pieces upon moving to South Carolina. I was inspired by the ever-changing sky as a storm approached along the Intracoastal waterway. This is my first piece using cold wax. I used the cold wax to blend the colors and sought to achieve the glow in the sky. The cold wax was integral in creating the reflections in the water.
